“Lambkin Cottage suited us perfectly for our week's stay in Cornwall.”

Being near the A39, the location was ideal as a hub for our intentions to take days-out in various directions, even Land's End taking just over an hour. Every aspect of the entire Tregamere Barton Farm cottages setting is picture-perfect and very tranquil. Set in beautifully-tended gardens, Lambkin Cottage had everything we needed for a home-from-home setting ... clean, superbly equipped and very comfortable. A little spot of heaven!

The facilities available at Tregamere Barton are fabulous and made for a seamless and enjoyable family holiday. The location is stunning with gorgeous views of the valley, peaceful away from main roads, and is the perfect base to explore Cornwall.

“We have stayed at these cottages several times over the years but this is the first time we have stayed in the lamkin.”

Pleasing to note that the level of quality and cleanliness is maintained in this cottage as it was the other two cottages we have previously stayed in and the location is as tranquil and relaxing as ever. We were even greeted by the hoots of an owl outside our cottage each night. I would highly recommend this of any cottage for a break

“We had a lovely holiday and were very comfortable.”

The property had all you needed for a week away . We did have to hoover the bathroom with hairs by the shower. But in general the property was comfortable and well equipped. We did find it very dark at night outside the property. But all together we had a lovely holiday. Thank you

It’s a great location for us, close to family, and is very peaceful. Accommodation is good, well furnished and equipped and very clean. The gardens are beautifully maintained. Angela the owner, is very welcoming and Kahdine is always helpful.

Felt like home. Nice and peaceful area where the cottage is located. Pool table is a great addition to the cottage, especially during evening times when it was raining :) Absolutely recommended for your holiday stay in Cornwall.

My only issue is it’s a Friday to Friday let and my experience after travelling to Cornwall for the last 12 years is it is the worst day to travel from Manchester.

“We (couple with grown-up daughter) have spent a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Lambkin Cottage, just like last year.”

Landlady and employees are very friendly and helpful. My husband had interesting conversations with the landlady and especially the gardener. Everything is available in the house. The arrival is sweetened with biscuits, tea bags, milk and a beautiful bouquet. Thanks again to everyone. We would love to come back.

“I'm so glad we found this property.”

Set in a rural area, but with local amenities and road links only minutes away, Lambkin cottage is a perfect getaway for a relaxing holiday. The property comes with everything needed, plus thoughtful extras, such as games, DVD's and also a pool table. There is also a playroom and an enclosed outdoor play area for the kids. We loved the woodland walk on the property and the outdoor seating areas for a relaxing drink at the end of a day of sightseeing. Would love to stay again and would highly recommend this property.

“I spent a week at Lambkin Cottage and loved every moment.”

The cottage was very clean. The cottage is large and has plenty of space in the kitchen/lounge area and downstairs games room. The games room also has a washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has everything a person would need to make a simple or complex meal. With the balcony area just off the kitchen to have a meal outside when it’s not raining

“Lovely clean cottage (modern kitchen and lounge upstairs) with a downstairs snooker/laundry room where my husband could go and work quietly in the evening (while I watched the TV upstairs).”

The wi-fi connection was fine upstairs but not so good downstairs and it had to be reconnected every day. We sat out on the deck in the sun several times and there was a back yard where we hung our washing on the line provided. Waitrose and Sainsburys delivered food to us so we never had to go into town. The only slight problem we had was with the noise of the traffic in the lane outside the bedrooms which started at 7 a.m. I bought wax earplugs from Boots and this fixed the problem.

“Lambkin Cottage is lovely.”

A perfect for base for exploring. Everything you need is in the cottage, including a pool table which kept our teenagers busy. It does however, need more thorough cleaning, there are lots of cobwebs in corners, behind the tv units and wardrobes. Overall, this is a lovely cottage and holiday base and we would definitely recommend.

Newquay 7 miles; Padstow 9 miles.

An old and picturesque market town nestled among lush green countryside, just five miles from the North Cornish Coast. The resort attractions of Newquay includes bars, clubs, a zoo, vibrant shops, the National Surfing Centre and fabulous beaches are all just 7 miles away, while 9 miles in the other direction is the sleepy fishing port of Padstow. In between lies a beautiful section of the South West Coast path, winding its way over the clifftops, down to tranquil coves and across some of the region's top beaches.
