    “We last stayed at Riverside cottage back in 2018 and though it has changed very little since then as far as decor goes it is still a very comfortable and well equipped cottage to explore the area.”

    We very much enjoyed our stay despite the weather and even managed to return home having found a property to move into in Newlyn. The biscuits and milk were appreciated after a long trip down. Our only let down with the cottage was that on arrival the recycling tubs under the bedroom window were overflowing with cardboard and plastic which had clearly been there for some time. Unfortunately I couldn't find any information with regards to bin collections or I would have moved them out ...

2 Riverside Cottage is a wonderful base for a family seeking a traditional coastal getaway, with glorious beaches, historical landmarks and a magnitude of attractions to suit a group of all ages and tastes within striking distance.

Be welcomed in after a wonderful day exploring into the brightly decorated interior, where you will be delighted to find contemporary furnishings, quality features and a number of charming touches to ensure a relaxing stay.

On the ground floor you will find two well-presented bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double bedroom, which has been completed with a nautical theme to quietly reflect your surroundings, as well as a twin bedroom which benefits from patio doors opening up to the garden.

Venture up the staircase to enjoy a relaxing evening within the open-plan living room, where you will find all the essentials to enjoy a week-long break.

The well-equipped kitchen comes with everything you will need to cater your own home-cooked meals, before settling down at the dining table to plan the days ahead with your loved ones.

After dinner, sink into the sofa which rest in front of the woodburning stove, creating the perfect ambiance for tuning into the TV or relaxing with a good book during a winter’s evening.

From here, throw open the patio doors and walk along the bridge to discover a spacious lawned garden where a spot of alfresco dining can be enjoyed whilst catching a far-reaching glimpse of St Michaels Mount.

Crowlas is a village in Cornwall. It is located one mile from St Michael’s Mount, a small tidal island home to the 15th century chapel and medieval castles. It can be reached by a causeway or frequent boat rides. Local sights include the Cornwall Coastal Path for walkers and cyclists and The Hoxton Special open for surfing, windsurfing and kitesurfing, as well as Penlee House Gallery & Museum which specalises in the Newlyn School and early St Ives artists. Visit the local pub The Star Inn which houses excellent Cornish Real Ale. Crowlas is 1 mile east of Ludgvan and 1 mile south of Whitecross.
