The property

The Coach House is perched high above Gwenver Beach, enjoying uninterrupted Atlantic Ocean views that stretch as far as the eye can see.

Set in one of Cornwall’s most iconic coastal locations, right next to Sennen Cove, this striking retreat offers a front‑row seat to some of the UK’s finest surfing beaches and wild coastal scenery. Arrive along a private lane, where sweeping sea views accompany you all the way to the property, before stepping into a bright and airy kitchen and dining space that immediately sets the tone for relaxed coastal living.

Designed with both comfort and practicality in mind, it’s a welcoming space to gather over meals after days spent on the beach or exploring the cliffs. Upstairs, the first‑floor sitting room is perfectly positioned to make the most of the breathtaking panorama, while the seaward‑facing balcony steals the show, an exceptional spot for sunset drinks, storm‑watching or simply soaking up the endless horizon.

Wherever you settle, the ocean is never far from view. The accommodation offers three comfortable bedrooms, arranged to suit a range of guests.

A ground‑floor twin bedroom provides easy access, while upstairs you’ll find an en‑suite double bedroom alongside a second twin, all offering restful spaces after active days outdoors.

To the front of the house, a garden area creates a lovely setting for alfresco dining, allowing you to enjoy the fresh sea air with unforgettable coastal views. After a day on the beach, rinse away the salt and sand before settling in for a cosy evening overlooking the waves.

A handy outdoor tap makes it easy to wash down wetsuits, muddy walking boots and salty paws after coastal adventures.

Pet‑friendly and ideal for walkers and water‑sports enthusiasts, The Coach House sits moments from the South West Coast Path.

Those heading towards Land’s End will find the welcoming Land’s End Coffee Bar & Roastery just a short stroll from the famous landmark, perfect for a well‑earned brew en route. A gentle stroll leads down to Sennen Cove, where you can soak up the laid‑back seaside atmosphere, book a lesson with the award‑winning Sennen Surfing Centre on the golden sands, or unwind with a sauna session at Bos Sauna, perched on the edge of the cove with sweeping Atlantic views, ideally followed by a bracing sea dip.

When hunger strikes, the beachside Sennen Surf Lodge offers relaxed dining with the sound of the waves close by.

Alternatively, enjoy hearty food and a local pint at the much‑loved Old Success Inn or the historic First & Last Inn, both within easy reach, with a handy shop nearby for everyday essentials.

Whether you’re chasing summer surf or dramatic winter skies, The Coach House delivers an unforgettable coastal escape, a stylish sanctuary where the ocean is always in view, whatever the season. Note: This property can be booked with Refs 932657, 932663, and 932664; together they sleep 22 – perfect for larger gatherings.

Gwenver Beach Collection

Sennen Cove 1.7 miles. Perfect for beach and coastal holidays and short breaks, these properties are set in a stunning location with private access to Gwenver beach close to Sennen Cove, 5 miles from Lands’ End and 9 miles from the ancient market town of Penzance. As soon as you arrive down the private drive you feel immediately relaxed with amazing sea views all the way. The properties are well-equipped and two have a balcony where you can sit out with your morning cup of tea and enjoy your surroundings. The nearby beach is sandy and around 150 yards long and with some of the best surfing conditions in Cornwall it is surprising that it never gets too crowded. For those who want to relax and watch the surfing action the beach is a real suntrap located at the base of steep granite cliffs. With superb coastal walks in either direction right from the door walkers will also be in their element here. Adjoining is Sennen Cove with Whitesands beach, one of the cleanest in Europe and named in the top 20 secret beaches in the British Isles. Sennen Cove still retains much of the atmosphere of an old fishing village, with a small number of local fishing boats plying their trade from the harbour. With Sennen having a great pub, a top class restaurant, a café, fish and chip shop as well as a village shop you will have all the ingredients for a great holiday whatever time of year.

About the location

SENNEN

Land’s End 1 mile; St Just 5 miles; Penzance 9 miles.

The most westerly village in mainland Britain, Sennen has a lovely mile-long beach of pure white sand and is a very popular holiday destination. With excellent surfing conditions, the village has its own surf school – overlooked by a super-cool beach bar/restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows which make the most of the wonderful views. Once a hub of smuggling activity, Sennen still retains many secret passages – one of which is said to lead to the covered well in the Old Success Inn. Largely unchanged over time, this lovely village has a timeless appeal and is home to a gallery, a medieval church, an Iron Age fort and a small selection of shops where you can buy beachware, gifts and souvenirs, and a range of groceries. There is also a weekly Farmers’ Market in the village Community Centre each Tuesday morning. During the summer, the beach bar becomes a hub of activity and entertainment, with live music, weekly barbecues and popular surfing competitions.
