The cottage has a wonderful view! You are immersed in the beautiful nature. Surrounded by the pond and ducks and birds, it reminded me of the Beatrix Potter stories. I adore it! Newquay’s beaches are glorious, with miles to explore, perfect for long walk or if you are brave enough you can even surf in winter time. We ate delicious seafood at the Boathouse restaurant but you have to book in advance. There are so many wonderful places to visit, my favourite so far are: Fistral Beach, pentire Steps Beach, Barbara Hepworth Museum, Eden Project, Lost Garden and off course just around the corner the Potting Shade, perfect for breakfast! We were spoiled with a welcome treat!!! fresh eggs and a bottle of Italian rose’. What a wonderful place! I can’t wait to go back!

The property

Set in the heart of the charming village of Quintrell Downs, this contemporary ground floor apartment is perfect for couples for families looking for a rural escape while still being close to the action of Newquay.

Situated on a raised level, the apartment stands over a lovely duck pond that creates an idyllic setting, helping you relax that little bit more.

Upon entering the property, you are granted with an extensive hallway that leads into the large open-plan area.

The space is a simply stunning environment to be in, with the fabulous attention to detail through the wooden fixtures dotted about, while the plush L shaped sofa and contemporary log burner cater for your relaxation.

This immaculate presentation continues into the kitchen, hosting various modern appliances and a spacious layout that eases you through your stay.

Sleeping four in total, this accommodation hosts a super king-size double with en-suite facilities and beautifully decorated second bedroom with French doors that lead out onto the patio.

Completing the interior, the wonderfully modern family bathroom oozes luxury - the stone walls and overhead shower add a real touch of class to the place.

Taking you outside there is an extensive wood decking area with seating and BBQ for dining outside on those sunny afternoons.

Catering for your relaxation, the beautiful surrounding area includes a wooded area and duck pond.

Due to its southerly aspect, the decked area attracts lots of sun which even makes it a spot for sunbathing in the summer.

The award-winning Fistral Beach is only a short drive away, as well as up to five more fabulous beaches around Newquay.

The town centre offers a selection of eateries, from seafood restaurants to traditional pubs and cosy cafes as well as a wealth of shops and attractions such as the Sea Life Centre and Zoo.
