“Absolutely faultless.”

A beautifully quiet spot for a family holiday with so much in the local area to see and do. Lovely owner, had a couple of really nice chats about our shared love of country life. Very highly recommended and would not hesitate to stay again.

“Excellent lodge in a beautiful location which is well equipped with pretty much much everything one needs for a comfortable stay.”

It was clean and well maintained. Jill is very kind and a friendly host, made us feel welcome. I visited with my elderly parents and sister. Since everything is ground floor it was very convenient for my parents. Jill went above & beyond to help us to ensure we had a comfortable stay, On one rainy night when we were driving back to lodge in a country road, I drove over a fallen branch which got wedged under my car. Then to my pleasant surprise Jill's car stopped behind ours and Jill came to our rescue like an angel. She helped me get the branch out and get going again.I would highly recommend Tregullon holiday lodges. I would definitely try to book the same place when I visit Cornwall again.

“Absolutely fabulous, I have never seen a holiday accommodation so well equipped and the facilities were superb.”

The lodge is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and felt like home from home. I could rave about the lodge indefinitely but suffice it to say, for us, it was just perfect. Very peaceful and tranquil location. The owner could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Cannot recommend the property, or owners, highly enough. Will definitely go back at the first opportunity.

“A great property furnished to a high standard and very comfortable.”

Some nice touches also like the outdoor games and welcome scones. A very minor point for possible improvement would be the brightness of lighting in the main living area as I found it quite dim in the evening, even with all lights on.

“Absolutely perfect, The tips on arrival were very welcome.”

And the location is great, as when the weather is rough on the North coast we could head South, which we hadn’t considered before. We didn’t have time even to see Bodmin, but explore some great beaches and did biking at Lanhydrock. The lodges have everything you could need, and the little touches were especially welcoming.

“The lodge was lovely and clean, and had everything you needed for the stay.”

The scones, jam and Clotted cream were a very nice touch, and the milk was very welcome enabling us to have a cup of tea after a long journey, very thoughtful! Jill was very welcoming and explained the facilities thoroughly. The site is very peaceful but only a five minute drive into Bodmin, so was ideal for us. We had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to recommend, as we already have to our friends, and will definitely stay there again. Thank you Jill!

The property is situated in a central area close to both North and South coastlines, near to the main roads but far enough away as not to here the heavy traffic on the major A roads, so peaceful and tranquil the owners could not do enough for you

“The lodge was well equipped and spotlessly clean.”

Plus there were some useful extras to make our stay comfortable- loved the swingball and the bonus of a cream tea on arrival. Close to Bodmin to access shops etc. Plenty to do nearby and the choice of visiting the south coast or north coast. Have already recommended others to stay!

It does state in our information file that we have a large supply of different types of pillows and are happy to change them. We could also have changed the mattress. “Tregullon Farm cottages are lovely.”

The way they are laid out enables each cottage to have complete privacy both in and the outside area. There are two seating areas outside and a BBQ. The cottage was very clean. Extremely comfortable beds. All facilities needed were there. Very lovely welcome by the owner Jill as well as jam and scones. It is a great central location for visiting lots of places in Cornwall. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back

Owner very friendly and helpful (exchanged our duvet for a thinner one on request). Great to have cream tea on arrival. Location excellent, easy access to all the places we wanted to go, including Cardinham Woods, Lanhydrock, Bodmin Steam Railway, Rough Tor.

It is a great location for exploring both the north and south coast, with lots to do and see within half an hour's drive. Jill and Richard were very friendly and helpful. Part of the reason we chose Tregullan was to visit some of the places my ancestors lived locally, having found some addresses when researching my family tree. Jill really went the extra mile, providing me with lots of local information and old photographs of Bodmin, for which I am truly grateful.

Owners greeted us on arrival, and live on site. Everything worked well, with plenty of parking. Wi-Fi worked a lot better than expected! A very pleasant stay. Would recommend Tregullon Farm to everyone. 10/10

The property

Located near the very centre of Cornwall making it an ideal location for touring the County with easy access to both coasts this charming Baltic pine lodge is set on a working farm amongst rolling Cornish countryside two miles from the small village of Lanivet.

You enter the lodge into the open plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable sitting and dining areas, ideal for the family to gather and plan the day ahead.

There are three bedrooms here, a king size double with en-suite facilities, a single and a bunk bedroom both close to the family bathroom.

At the front of the lodge is an L shaped verandah overlooking the patio area with a built-in barbecue both offering splendid countryside views.

A comfortable lodge in an ideal touring location ideal for holidays all year round.

About the location

LANIVET

Bodmin 5 miles.

A small village just to the west of Bodmin, Lanivet is a collection of picturesque properties, an award-winning fish and chip restaurant, a pub and a few shops. The main town in the area is Bodmin, with its shopping centre and local attractions of the Bodmin and Wenford Railway, the Camel cycle trail, and the Bodmin Jail with its courtroom experience. Close by are Bodmin Moor, the National Trust’s Lanhydrock House and Gardens for walking and cycling, as well as the magnificent Eden Project. Cornwall’s northern surfing coast and beaches are some twelve miles away, and the south coast is eight miles away. With good communication links on the doorstep to all parts of Cornwall, Lanivet is an ideal location for touring or for a simply relaxing Cornish break.
