The property

Bayview is a beautifully presented three‑bedroom holiday cottage in Tregurrian, just a ten‑minute stroll from the golden sands of Watergate Bay, one of Cornwall’s most iconic surfing beaches.

With sea views, modern comfort and a prime coastal location close to Newquay and Padstow, it’s the perfect base for families, couples and friends. The open‑plan living area features a cosy sitting space with Smart TV, Blu‑ray DVD and an electric fire, alongside a bright dining area ideal for relaxed meals.

A well‑equipped kitchen includes an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and dishwasher.

Doors open to a private patio garden — a sunny spot for morning coffee, evening drinks or drying off surf gear after a day on the beach. Upstairs are three comfortable bedrooms: a king‑size double with TV, a flexible twin/super‑king with TV and en‑suite WC, and a bunk room ideal for children.

Two bedrooms enjoy lovely sea views.

A modern family bathroom with a bath and shower completes the layout. Practical amenities include WiFi, electric central heating, bed linen and towels, a cot and highchair on request, and off‑road parking for one car.

Two well‑behaved dogs are welcome, and the cottage is strictly non‑smoking.

The beach and seasonal bar are only 0.5 miles away. Bayview’s location offers quick access to Watergate Bay’s surf school, beach cafés, Wax Watergate Bay restaurant and scenic cliff‑top walks.

Newquay’s Towan Beach, Fistral Beach, the Blue Reef Aquarium and Newquay Zoo are within easy reach, while Padstow’s harbour, the Camel Trail and ferry to Rock are just a short drive away.

St Agnes, Truro and the Eden Project can all be reached within 30 minutes. With sea views, stylish interiors and unbeatable proximity to Watergate Bay, Bayview is an ideal Cornwall holiday cottage for beach lovers, walkers and families seeking a coastal escape.

WATERGATE BAY

Newquay 4 miles; Newquay Airport 1.5 miles.

The peaceful destination of Watergate Bay is home to a few cottages, a couple of hotels on the headland, a fantastic beachside bistro and an extreme sports/surf school, placing the bay in a class of its own. Viewed as one of Cornwall’s best surfing beaches, Watergate Bay also offers sand yachting, paragliding, kite surfing, cliff climbing, and abseiling. The area is a favourite with walkers, with the South West Coast Path extending west toward Newquay and east to Padstow, through some of the county’s most dramatic coastal scenery. Newquay, with its lively resort attractions, shops, bars, zoo and Sea Life Centre is just four miles away, whilst the picturesque town of Padstow, with its famous seafood restaurants and beautiful harbour area, make a great day out. The world-renowned Eden Project, the National Maritime Museum at Falmouth and the Cathedral city of Truro, with its cobbled streets, restaurants, museums and theatre are all within easy reach, as are several stately homes and outstanding gardens. Peace and tranquillity are assured in this beautiful area with roaring surf, great beaches and much to see and do right on the doorstep.
