Bayview is a fantastic place to explore the area from.

Absolutely spotless and exceptionally comfortable, especially the beds. Kitchen is very well equipped and the wifi is excellent. Great communication from the owners throughout. Loved our stay here, very highly recommend.

We have just returned from a 6 nights holiday staying at Bayview after having the best time with our family .

The accommodation is absolutely gorgeous with everything you could ever need for adults children and pets .Home from home ! Prior to our holiday Heather kept us informed of all the relevant information and was available if we had any questions or problems . She advised us that we could go to the cottage any time as it was all ready for us which was so kind as my son and family had travelled over night..The Cornish Tea and scones left for us was a lovely gesture. The bus stop to Newquay / Padstow is just a few steps away . We will definitely return in the future and will definitely recommend to family and friends. Thankyou Heather for making our holiday extra special

This is a well thought out holiday cottage and everything you could possibly need is in this cottage. Lovely little garden at the back & front. Very comfortable beds and good quality furnishings. It’s a beautiful peaceful location. Highly recommend. We hope to return again soon.

We had a lovely week at Bayview.

The property is very comfortable and clean with plenty of space. The kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we needed. The house is in a good location within walking distance of the coast path and beach (although a bit of a trek carrying surfboards!). Steve and Heather were great with their communication and the cream tea on arrival was a nice surprise.

Excellent location and a great house.

We had a comfortable stay with plenty of room for us all. The garden was safe and enclosed for the dog. I felt I could reach out if I needed anything.

Steve and Heather, the hosts were in regular contact before our stay and were available during our stay. The accommodation was very clean, modern and had everything we needed. The location to Watergate Bay is perfect and travelling around Cornwall is very easy. Would highly recommend.

We were very impressed with cottage and had a lovely week.

The cottage is in a very good position for a selection of beaches, some which can be walked to if you don't mind a hill and no path. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the equipment for the toddler was excellent, although the travel cot was too wide to go in the 3rd bedroom, so he spent the week with his parents in the double room which is the roomiest.

We had a really enjoyable week staying at Bayview which is in a lovely setting with friendly neighbours.

The property is well equipped, very nicely furnished, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The patio garden is a secure space where you can sit and relax with your dogs. Communication from the owners was excellent, considerate and friendly.

Would 100% recommend Bayview.

Exceptional cottage which is very well equipped - like a home from home. Excellent communication from the owners prior to our arrival. We stayed with two dogs and the enclosed garden was perfect for them. Only a 5 minute car ride to Watergate Bay. One thing to note is there is only parking for one car, wasn’t a huge issue for us this time of year (December) as the car park is free in Watergate Bay.

Lovely, well equipped cottage that is in an ideal location for visiting the North Cornwall coast.

The cottage is very clean and the cream tea and milk on arrival is a nice touch.Watergate Bay is a short walk 15mins but it is a typical Cornish narrow road. Heather and Mike are extremely helpful and considerate, thankyou for the use of your property.

Nice comfortable house, very clean and we were very happy there, thank you.

The track at the back of the property had a bit of a problem with dog poo, my husband cleared three lots up one morning, which wasn't there the previous evening so could have been left by someone walking their dogs maybe early in the morning, impossible to say as we didn't see, fortunately no more appeared. A sign at the start of the track might be a good idea, it is annoying, I have both horses and dogs and appreciate no-one likes clearing up after someone else's animals.

Lovely property, very close to watergate bay and only short ride to Newquay.

If you don't want to drive the bus stop is close by with regular service. Only short walk to Watergate bay.

We’ve been staying in around watergate bay for over 12years and love the area and can’t believe we haven’t found this house before.

A real home from home and everything you could possibly want. Comfortable quality furniture, we all slept really well and it’s such a peaceful location. Brilliant to have a little garden for our dog too. 100% recommend this property and the owners were exceptionally helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay- thank you.

What a beautiful cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, a true home from home.

This is a wonderful property, close to beaches and links to roads, for a little further from the bay.

The house itself has everything you need and is a real home from home, very well equipt and has a lovely view of Watergate Bay. Clean and comfortable, dog friendly and the large field to the rear of the house is a huge plus. It was our second visit and I would definitely return.

What a great place, we were unlucky that the oven wasn’t working but it didn’t spoil our holiday & the owners were very prompt in trying to fix it

Bayview is a fabulous self-catering holiday home, ideally located with stunning “bay views”!

It’s very comfortable and well-equipped and situated in a quiet location in easy walking distance of Watergate Bay (12 minutes!) and a 5 minute drive to Mawgan Porth. The owners, Steve and Heather, couldn’t be more helpful. From the useful welcome guide and information, to the super quick responses to messages - even arranging for a replacement cafetière to be delivered during our stay when the one in the kitchen was found to be broken! There was also a cream tea waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived :) This was our 2nd time staying at Bayview and we have already booked our 3rd trip :) Thanks very much Heather and Steve! Xx

The location is great and the property was spotlessly clean and all the fixtures and fittings are to a high standard. There is nothing to improve, the property is perfect.

Its not often that you come across a real gem, but our stay at Bayview was just that, a true home from home stay.

There is everything you would need and more, even a mega dot to dot for them less than sunny days. The views from the front bedroom windows across Watergate Bay with Newquay in the distance are amazing, even better as the sun sets on the horizon in the evening. The weather was mixed being there in late March, but the home was always warm and cosy on our return due to the app controlled electric heating. As you may have guessed from this review we had a great stay at Bayview and will look to return again.

The cottage is gorgeous, extremely clean, very spacious, contains everything imaginable you would need from kitchen equipment to dvds, even blankets for dogs.

Super location. Bayview was an ideal holiday home for us, spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed. The location of the property was perfect, offering easy access by car to a good number of fabulous beaches. Great communication from the host, Heather. All in all, quite superb. We could not fault Bayview, wonderful place in a very good location.

We had an issue with the hot water. It took one phone call and Steve and Heather had it all sorted. We'd thoroughly recommend Bayview. 10/10 from us :)

Great Property in a great location.

We have stopped in several different properties in Cornwall but this one is definitely the best. All the others have felt distinctly like holiday cottages but Bayview feels like going to your own home. Great kitchen, comfy bed, powerful shower and a nice enclosed area to the back for the dogs. High speed internet is also a nice touch. We will definitely be back

Lovely place Everything you could want or need for a short or long break in Cornwall.

Having the dogs with us was a bonus and the nice cream tea when we arrived was such a lovely way to start the holiday.

A wonderful, well equipped and stylish cottage in a fantastic location.

Just a short walk and you are at Watergate beach with beautiful coastal walks. Seaview from the lounge and 2 front bedrooms and lovely countryside view from the back bedroom. Car parking was no problem at all. Modern facilities and lovely decor in the cottage. Absolutely loved it.

Lovely place to stay.

A real credit to the owners. Cosy…a real home from home. Everything I possibly needed was available in the house. Watergate beach is one of many features which my two dogs loved and enjoyed exploring too…they were both exhausted every time we went there.

We loved the property.

It was lovely and clean. The kitchen was so well stocked with everything you need. Lovely touch with the cream tea on arrival. Lovely views out to sea. The location of the property was perfect. Just a short walk down to the beautiful Watergate Bay, lovely long beach. There were a few bars open. We visited The Beach Hut a few times for drinks, perfect location to sit and chill and watch the world go by. Just by the property is a bus top, the bus takes you along the coast from Padstow to Newquay, so perfect if you fancy going on a walk and getting the bus home. We really did have a fantastic stay and we really hope we can go back before too long.

Brilliant holiday home!

We could not have asked for somewhere better!!!! We absolutely loved the location… 2 min drive to watergate bay beach, recommend Wax for an easy family meal. Emily Scott food was lovely and view fantastic (but service less than ideal for the standard of restaurant), we didn’t try the Beach Hut as it was fully booked but I take that as a good sign as was Catch Seafood in the village of Mawgan Porth. The holiday home had sea views and we watched the sun gone down most evenings. Everything had been thought of in this house, super dog friendly with extra blankets to protect the comfy sofas from the dogs, a stair gate to keep dogs downstairs etc. Sofas and Beds super comfy, kitchen and bathrooms very modern and clean. Garden was small but perfect for our needs. Wi-Fi, tv and living space perfect for a family of 4! Some reviews talk about the parking… yes it’s a little tight but we managed to park an XC90 everyday with no issue! There is plenty of swing space and as the parking area is off the main road you can easily take your time if you are worried! Thanks so much Heather for a great week!

We all loved the place.

It was beautiful, clean and nice! We didn't want to leave and the back garden with the BBQ really made our holiday that extra special. The view and location was fantastic. The parking could be a bit better but we didn't have a problem as no one was in the place next door to us. Having unlimited WIFI and being pet friendly was the icing on the cake for all of us (Especially the WIFI. Having 3 teenage kids saved me and my wife's sanity lol) We will be back next year that's for sure thank you.

The only downside to this property is only one shower and it’s a shower head over the bath.

The smaller double room does have an en-suite but only a sink and toilet. Other than that the property is beautiful.

It was a lovely holiday, the property had everything that we wanted and needed.

The owner was very responsive on the end of the phone for any questions we had. Parking can be tight but the neighbours are lovely and very helpful. Cleanliness on arrival was brilliant. Open plan Dow stays makes it feel v. spacious Perfect location for the surfing beaches or walking with dogs, coastal path just a short walk away. I would happily recommend this property to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Perfect home from home for our weeks holiday.

Well equipped with everything you could possibly need including scones, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge upon our arrival. Easy to find and parking clearly marked (maybe a little tight if you have a big car) . Garden tidy and very secure for dogs of all sizes. 3 minute drive to Watergate Bay Beach (parking is free from 1st November to 1st April). Beach is dog friendly all year round. Lots of Surf schools too. Communication with home owners was excellent and we do hope to stay again!

We have been to Cornwall many times and this property is the best we have stopped in.

Very clean, modern kitchen, large double bed and great location. We will definitely be stopping again.

A lovely holiday cottage in a fantastic location , we took our dogs and it was absolutely perfect for our needs , a secure garden with a quiet farm track right behind to walk the dogs through picturesque countryside , cottage was very clean and has a lovely positive vibe to it and has pretty much everything you will need , very comfortable mattress provided a great sleep In general a great cottage and owners were fantastic too

Amazing place to stay.

The only downside was the parking.

Although there was one allocated parking space, the neighbours made it very difficult to get in & out of the space.

The most well equipped and homely property we have ever stayed in, the owners had thought of everything and more!

It was absolutely wonderful and we were very sad to leave. I really hope we get to stay there again in the not too distant future!

Everything that we should need for our weeks stay in Cornwall was already there, it truly was a home from home. A wonderful cream tea was waiting for us on arrival, which was a lovely touch. Fabulous location. Will definitely be booking again with Sykes again. I would recommend using them to anyone.

Lovely, well equipped cottage.

15 min walk to Watergate Bay. The nearest shop is 2 miles away, not 0.5 as stated. I think there is a shop at the local campsite but that’s seasonal. It didn’t matter for us though. Ideally positioned for Newquay airport to pick up our son when he flew in.

The property was lovely and clean, very comfortable and was equipped with everything you need for a holiday. Around the property and the back garden all has been done to a high standard. First property in a long time it has felt worth the money!

The cottage is well presented and in a great location but enough away from the hub to enable a peaceful and relaxing holiday. The neighbours are very pleasant and the owners were readily available if assistance was needed, which it was not. Everything you need for a relaxed home from home holiday is provided. Lovely warm well equipped cottage with views over Watergate Bay.

Very clean and comfortable. An initial problem was sorted out quickly and efficiently by CCH and a helpful phone call from the owner. Only negative was the parking- although there is an allocated space we struggled to get in and out of it in our Volvo because of the inconsiderate parking of neighbours. We frequently couldn’t use the space at all.

Cottage was amazing, well located and extremely clean - we couldn’t ask for anything more.

The service we received from Cornish Cottage Holidays was second to none. We had an issue on our last day involving a lost house key. One phone call to CCH (on a bank holiday!) and the problem was immediately resolved. Excellent all round

Brilliant cottage.

Parking was an issue. Really tight parking spaces and the neighbours park their car in an awkward position. Directions given to get to the property are out of date also.
