“We’ve just returned from a wonderful six-night stay at The Hayloft and can’t recommend it highly enough.”

Sue and Steven have created a truly special space that was beautifully maintained, full of charm, and even lovelier than the photos suggest. Sue and Steven have created a truly special space that was beautifully maintained, full of charm, and even lovelier than the photos suggest. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy and enjoyable to prepare meals, and we spent some of our evenings relaxing with films in the cosy lounge. Mornings were best enjoyed outside, with breakfast and coffee in the peaceful courtyard, surrounded by birdsong and sunshine. One of the unexpected highlights was the shared, secluded garden, full of beautiful flowers and plants - our dog absolutely loved it - this was his first collieday. We wish we could have had the time to have a BBQ as all the bits were there for us to use, but didn't have the time on this occasion Everything had been thoughtfully prepared, from the welcome touches to the little details for children and families. We appreciated the helpful local tips from our hosts, and particularly enjoyed exploring the nearby countryside, local pubs, the Thursday fish-and-chip van, and the picture-perfect harbour town of Mevagissey - less than 15 minutes away. Whether you’re a couple, family, or group of friends, The Hayloft is a gem of a place that really does feel like a home away from home. We’d return in a heartbeat. Thank you again, Sue and Steven!
