A wonderful property, ideal for families - hope to be back next year!

Absolutely amazing property.

Spotlesly clean. Extremely well equiped kitchen - any culinary project can be accomplished. Comfortable beds Very tastefully decorated interior Large sofa in the lounge. Private outside seating area with a stunning view Semisecluded lawn area perfect relaxing moments Childrens play area and possibility of a walk within the farm grounds. Tranquill and remote - be prepared for a ride through narrow lanes - this just adds more romantic touch to the stay. Closest supermarket in Helston 10 mins drive Closest 5*beach 15 mins -Gunwallow Church Beach Would totally recommend for a anyone who seeks country retreat.

One of the very best holiday cottages we have stayed in.

Faultless in every respect. The owner was very welcoming and dealt with any query very quickly. Would not hesitate to go there again. The location is also a bonus as Cornwall is truly a wonderful place to be for a break but do be prepared to negotiate narrow lanes as they are impossible to avoid if you want to enjoy the best of what the area has to offer.

This was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much. Our children again loved the play area outside and as we were lucky with the weather (for March!) they were able to go outside often. The cottage was so comfortable and lovely and warm. The welcome gifts waiting for us including Easter bunny chocolate for the children was very appreciated thank you! The cottage is ideally placed to visit nearby places and a visit to Porthleven is advised such a lovely little place. Thank you for a lovely, peaceful, relaxed holiday

It’s a lovely comfortable and well equipped cottage at a beautiful and stunning location and Sarah was very welcoming and accommodating since the rental originally fell on the day of Storm Gorreti.

Sarah allowed us to postpone for a week and it had been a worrying and testing time for her yet she made our experience second to none with constant communication, keeping us up to date and informed. The lovely touches such as milk, chocolate and biscuits were a welcome treat and truly appreciated. Thank you Sarah. We hope to see you again soon.

The accommodation was perfect for us and the scenery beautiful. Sarah and Gem were perfect hosts and Sarah went out of her way to ensure everything was just right for us.The weather was in our favour so plenty of interesting places to visit in the area. We came home with bags full of apples from the orchard and would like to visit again in the springtime. We would thoroughly recommend the cottage to future visitors.

This is a delightful property situated on a farm nestled amongst other properties and also the owners home.

The property has a fully equip kitchen, comfortable beds and amazing views across the valley. Sarah, the owner was a great host and the gifts were very much appreciated upon our arrival. It was obvious to us that her passion was to create a home from home and that’s exactly how it felt. Our only niggle was the fact that the television speakers sounded distorted or as though someone had previously put the volume up too high which gave the sounds an irritating unclear tone but this was a minor problem on the grand scale of things. I highly recommend and we will return.

A really lovely place for holiday.

You find a large playground for the children. You will find everything you need in this house. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. The bathroom has underfloor heating - fantastic. Near the house you can buy the best cornish pasties ever in gear farm.

Sarah and Jem were wonderful hosts. The cottage is very well kept and very well equipped, including for kids. It's in a great location to get to lots of beaches and other tourist locations, and it is so quiet and peaceful. Our kids loved collecting eggs and Sarah also kindly gave us delicious apples from her garden. We would definitely recommend and will be coming back for another stay in the future.

The property was excellent, couldn’t fault it in anyway, the owner was great when we arrived, made sure we was ok with everything and was on hand if we needed anything, it was a little remote and definitely needed the car to get around anywhere, apart from that I would completely recommend it.

A wonderful stay in an idyllic location.

The house is top-notch and the shared outside area is amazing - games, open space, hens clucking away happily and breath-taking sunsets over a peaceful valley. We loved returning to this comfortable and welcoming home at the end of each day. Thank you so much for a lovely holiday.

Our 5th or 6th stay in this property.

A great property, in a great setting, in a great part of Cornwall. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Great nearby Pasties at Gear Farm. Coverack is one of the best beaches I know. Roskilly’s provides ice cream and oven baked Pizza and that doesn’t start to mention anything beyond 15-20 minutes away.

The holiday cottage was excellent, clean and spacious.

Very comfortable for a family of 4 - our kids at the time of our visit were 2 years old and 8 months old. The playroom and little playground were excellent additions to the property. The cottage itself is bright and very thoughtfully decorated with everything necessary for a lovely stay. We could have easily stayed another week or more even! It was amazing.

The accommodation was extremely comfortable. We found the location lovely, & ideally suited to walking. Our hosts were very friendly, without being intrusive. All in all a great place to visit.

My family and I spent a wonderful week at Valley View.

I can honestly say that this is the nicest place we have ever stayed in. We have two children aged 4 and 2 and the facilities for them were fantastic. The play area outside was ideal for them to enjoy themselves and for us to be able to relax and watch them play. Then an added bonus was the playroom which again the children loved.. So much so they didn't want to see anywhere else in Cornwall!! The cottage is lovely and central for visiting the wide variety of locations nearby. It was immaculately presented and the welcome gifts left for us were much appreciated. The owners were very helpful in giving up information on the best places to visit especially with the children. We will definitely be returning and hopefully very soon. Thank you!

Had a lovely relaxing stay at this lovely spotlessly clean cottage,surrounded by beautiful countryside views.

Never stayed anywhere so well equipped. If you want peace and tranquility this is the place. Looking around outside it certainly looks as if Sarah has thought of everything, children's play area outside and a playroom. Roads a bit hairy, that's Cornwall.

The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. Sarah and Jem were really friendly and made us feel very welcome and right at home. A thoughtful gift of cookies, chocolates and flowers greeted us upon our arrival. Sarah graciously shared her love of art and allowed us to view her Studio and gallery. Valley View is a perfect cottage in a beautiful peaceful location close to the Fal estuary.

There are many walks close from the cottage and so many places to visit by car within a short journey. The cottage is equipped to a very high standard with everything we needed for our stay. The owners, Sarah & Gem, were incredibly helpful and very friendly. Thank you for the welcome treats and the lovely flowers and your wonderful hospitality.

We were made to feel very welcome by the lovely owners. Cottage is very user friendly and immaculately clean. Everything we needed was there and more. Valley view is such a perfect cottage to get away from it all!

Well equipped with everything you could want and need. The garden and the activities for the children were perfect, along with the games room. As a family of 4 with 2 young children wanting to explore Cornwall’s south cost this property it’s location and it’s host were amazing.

The property is rural and a lovely escape from busy days sight seeing. The property is large clean and well equipped with a beautiful communal garden and games room that felt like it was just ours. The host was friendly accommodating and really helpful, we couldn’t recommend more. We will definitely be back one day thanks to Sarah for all her hard work it definitely shows.

Valley View is just LOVELY for a family!

Being able to sit outside with a beer, taking in the view whilst the kids play in the play area was just perfect. The cottage itself was very clean and well equipped. The play barn a welcome distraction. The outside space a god send. Sarah the owner was so accommodating letting the kids help with the feeding and egg collecting. She was also more than happy to provide us with local recommendations.

Wonderfully located, peaceful cottage, one of the best we have stayed in.

Great place to stay and tour the lizard. Local walks a must. Cottage was fantastic modern and very well equipped. Games room a real plus. Hosts were excellent and very friendly allowing our daughter to collect eggs from farm. Superb!

We had another lovely stay.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay is provided, along with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. We loved spending time in the playhouse playing table tennis and darts, and football on the field. Lots of toys provided for all ages. The local walks are well worth a trek followed by a pasty from Gear Farm. Sarah is a lovely host. Highly recommend a stay in Valley View.

Stunning views, very well equipped (even a toilet seat for our 3yo).

A great base for exploring the lizard but away from the hustle of the more touristy areas. We had a really good time and didn't want to leave, would definitely stay here again.

The property was lovely, it matched what was described, and the location was excellent - a quiet, beautiful setting on a farm in the countryside.

Owners were very welcoming, and along with arrival treats, gifted us eggs from the chickens on the farm. There was a field directly in front of the property with ample space for teenagers to play football. Lots of beaches within easy travel distance on the Lizard peninsula. Supermarkets available not far in Helston, and not too far to travel to larger tourist towns - Falmouth in particular.

This was an excellent property, very comfortable and very well equipped.

The owners went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the kids loved seeing the chickens and duck's and playing in the games room or on the lawn. It's in a beautiful area of Cornwall. Would definitely think about returning again sometime.

We absolutely loved our stay here.

Everything we needed.my daughter especially liked the toiletries in the bathroom and the big fluffy blanket in the twin room. The kids loved the little games area room and the play equipment. They also loved saying hello to the. Cows everytime we left or came back from a day out. The views are stunning on an evening. It's so peaceful and quiet. Was amazing to have a dishwasher and washing machine especially with the kids. Sarah was so lovley, the little welcome pack on arrival was very well recieved, and the flowers were beautiful. Just perfect. ❤️

A beautiful cottage like home from home and amazing views of the valley , weather was amazing so we enjoyed meals on the patio over looking the fantastic views with peace and quiet with only the bird song .

Absolutely beautiful rural location.

The cottage was like a home from home and the girls were obsessed with playing in the garden and helping collect the chicken/duck eggs. Would recommend this to families and anyone looking for some peace and quiet! The location is perfect for exploring the many hidden qualities of Cornwall.

The property exceeded our expectations as it was much bigger than the photos suggested, very comfortable and spacious.

It felt like home from home as there was everything you would need. Beautiful location with lovely walks on your doorstep. Sarah was the perfect host, the boys loved feeding the chickens and ducks and collecting eggs which were delicious. Lots for children to do, swings, slide, well stocked playroom, lovely open space for children to play football. We didn't want to come home and look forward to our next stay! What an amazing place!

The kids had such a lovely time, my husband and myself had the relaxing time we wanted. It was so nice getting some fresh country air away from the city. The owners were so friendly and welcoming, they let our girls help feed the chickens and collect some eggs, which we had for breakfast- delicious! We were given a lovely welcome food package on arrival which was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely be back if they would have us.

This is without a doubt the most comfortable and comprehensive property we have Ever stayed in. It is a really comfortable and stylish home from home. Such a lovely quiet setting and the owners were very welcoming, accommodating and helpful. Lovely artwork by the talented Sarah too.

Our holiday was great.

It was so relaxing bring there. In the bungalow there was everything we needed and more. The hosts couldn't do enough for us. There was a barn with so much for the children to do and the plat area outside was perfect for them.

The pictures do not do justice. It was spotless, peaceful, had amazing views and perfect for children. The owner Cinderella (our children’s name for her) was lovely, even let the children help her collect eggs and feed her chickens. The children cried on the day we left. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent property.

Never realised it had such good views and a sheltered patio area where we ate all our meals.

Although we went as a older couple, we could see that the location would be ideal and safe fir a family with young children.
