It is an ideal couples and family coastal retreat just a short amble from Holywell Bay and Polly Joke beach.

Embrace the sheer pleasure of retreating to Homeleas secluded gardens, accessed through the double french doors from the kitchen, leading to the patio with teak garden furniture.

A garden on split levels with bright brimming borders packed full of flowers and tropical agaves, offering total privacy and all day sun.

Deck chairs are provided for you to relax in.

Inside this timeless coastal hideaway the living room is light and airy, beautifully furnished complete with smart TV, wood burning stove, WiFi and comfy settees.

Whether you are relaxing on a warm balmy evening or enjoying the warmth of the flickering flames from the woodburner on a storm watching break, this room is charming.

From rugged coastal walks to picnics on the beach or by trickling streams, this cottage is a great base.

If you are a Poldark fan you are minutes away from Holywell Bay with its iconic Gull Rock, soft sandy beach and grassy dunes.

15 minute walk or 5 minutes by car- The National Trust Cubert Common leads to Polly Joke beach, a jewel in Cornwall’s beaches.

20 minute walk over Cubert Common or 5 minutes by car- Crantock Beach (free parking for National Trust members).

A stunning expansive beach where the river Gannel meets the Atlantic Ocean.

Whether you are a walker, surfer, sun worshipper or paddleboard enthusiast this beach is a real destination.

Cross the sand to visit the Fern Pit cafe with its amazing views and if the tide is in catch the boat ferry over.

Crantock has a local farmers market, post office and well stocked convenience shop selling delicious pasties, pastries and provisions.

Visit the Bowgie Inn for pub grub, the Lorna Wildes gallery, One Field Farm for locally grown veg, local village pubs offering good food.

Not to be missed is a visit to the unique “Hevlas” with its secret garden, relax and enjoy a cream tea with homemade elderflower and apple jam or go for supper and taste their savoury seasonal menu, booking essential.

Seasonal village events include the charity Bale Push, village fete and pop-up shop.

Cubert- a friendly local village pub, well stocked Londis and great family run bakery/ tea -room serving top notch coffee, delicious fresh bread and cakes.

Homelea, a wonderful peaceful cottage is a beautiful base from which to explore and enjoy all Cornwall has to offer including, The Eden Project, Tehidy Woods for a ramble or to watch Rogue Theatre perform, Falmouth Maritime Museum, The Minack Theatre, Perran Sands and The Lost Gardens of Heligan.

Horse riding on the Gannel River with Trenance riding stables, swim at Newquay Waterworld or enjoy the facilities at the renowned Heron Tennis Club at Trenance for lessons or social tennis.
