“We had a lovely stay at Underlanes.”

The home itself is beautifully clean with everything you need. It is situated in a very good position to explore and visit lots of places. The owners are brilliant and very helpful. Would 100% recommend a stay here

The property

In the small hamlet of Marshgate, close to North Cornwalls rugged coast is Underlanes, a welcoming semi detached cottage attached to the same owners smaller property Little Lanes (1026931) with a connecting lockable door which when booked together can sleep 6/7.

Spacious and comfortable, there are lovely countryside views from the open-plan living area where you can curl up and unwind into the evening.

There's a dining area for indulging in a deliciously prepared home-cooked meal, whilst the kitchen itself has been equipped with everything you'll need during your stay.

Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the double bedroom where you can get some much needed rest for the days ahead.

You'll wake to long rural views, why not sit and simply enjoy the outstanding countryside with a coffee before heading out?

You have a neat patio which looks over the large front garden which you share with neighboring Little Lanes.

To the rear is a smaller enlosed garden for your own use.

The award winning Hillsborough Farm Shop is 10 minutes drive away.

Leave your car in the car park and explore the South West Coastal Path.

The pretty harbour village of Boscastle with its witchcraft museum is a must see as is the seaside village of Tintagel, said to have been the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur, with Merlin's Cave resting below the clifftop.

The South West Coast Path offers some of the best walking in the region and gives access to some magnificent coastal views.

Underlanes is an ideal base for those seeking to explore this historic coastline of Cornwall.

About the location

Tintagel 4 miles; Camelford 6 miles.

A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.
