Wow.

What a property! We all really enjoyed our stay at Penn-An-Vownder. Spacious, immaculate and had everything you could wish for and more! Stunning garden, with good storage for surfboards and a wetsuit hanger which was useful. Quiet location yet excellent links to coastal areas. We explored Perranporth, Holywell bay, Fistral beach, Newquay, Porth and Watergate bay and all were within 20 minutes. Small shop in the village, less than 8 minutes walk. Also a train station that runs into Newquay roughly every hour and only takes 5 mins. Excellent communication with the owners before and during our stay, would highly recommend.

Very spacious and extremely clean, couldn't find fault in anything, perfect in every way.

A spacious, well appointed bungalow in a lovely quiet area. Lovely big open plan living space and a beautiful private garden. Quick drive to the beaches at Newquay.

What fantastic accommodation, in a wonderful location.

From the moment we booked, the communication from the owners was really helpful and they were on hand for any queries we had. We had a group of five adults and a two year old, who were all catered for really well, as not only the home and garden were idea for the lovely summer days, but we had all the items needed to make our holiday great. This included toys in a rather large shed for the little one.

This was our second visit to Penn-An-Vownder and once again it did not disappoint.

Spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, very well equipped with the added bonus of a tv in the master bedroom! As usual Tina and Colin were excellent hosts and such lovely people. We felt very welcome! Thank you for the lovely treats you left out for our arrival and for the early check in. We will definitely be returning!

We’ve just got back from a week away at Penn-An-Vownder and had such a great time.

The place was very clean and had everything you need (we are a family of four, with two young children). We had a couple of queries which Tina and Colin helped us with immediately, which we were very grateful for. We’d absolutely stay again and would highly recommend to others.

House is absolutely fantastic, honestly the pictures do not do it enough justice, you can tell Tina and Colin truly care for their guests, they have provided everything you need in the property to ensure that kids are well entertained and that families are provided.

If you are thinking about going to Cornwall, I 100% advise you to book this property, it won’t be something you regret. Thanks once again to Tina and Colin for accommodating us in their beautiful home

It was clean, tidy and loads of room, everything you wanted, a home from home. We will definitely book for next year.

Again it did not disappoint, the property is lovely and well situated. The house is a true home from home, well presented and clean. Would highly recommend and we will likely be back for a third time!

The property is immaculate and conveniently situated for exploring this part of North Cornwall.

There are frequent buses and the train for getting into Newquay, A SPAR supermarket is 5 minutes walk away and also 3 pubs within walking distance. It's tucked away down a cul-de-sac behind the garden centre in a very quiet location. Very spacious and well equipped for a holiday cottage. Highly recommended.

Great location and everything we needed plus more.

Well situated for travelling around and discovering lovely beaches. First impressions on moving in were great. We are a party of 4 (youngest 80yrs old!) and found the accommodation ideal, being all ground level, walk-in showers, off-road parking. All in all exactly what was required and we all enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

Beautiful property in a nice quiet location, set back off the main roads.

I am a clean freak and i could not fault this property at all, it was spotless inside and out, everything had been thought of, even down to scones and cider for our arrival. Would return in a heartbeat.

What a joy to stay at this property, very close to beaches and points of interest.

Local shops and supermarkets almost on the doorstep. Enough space for 2 cars with room to spare. Spacious and modern we would definitely recommend this property for a family get away. A++++

We honestly could not fault it at all! One of the best properties we have stayed in. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. It was the perfect location, close to Newquay and the north coat beaches. Tina and Colin were lovely and the perfect hosts. We were so impressed we have already booked for next year! Beautiful garden, with lovely garden furniture, toys for the kids and extra garden chairs in the shed. The owners are lovely people, they both made sure we had everything we needed, and checked in with us on a regular basis. The garden centre next door is a good spot for coffee, and breakfast. We will be recommending this property to family and friends. Thankyou Tina and Colin for a lovely stay.

Has everything you could ever need. Quiet location but with easy access to Newquay and A30. This was our second stay here and have already booked a third stay.

One of the top five holiday properties we have stayed in over the last thirty years and we have stayed in at least three a year!

We loved the spaciousness and it was great to have both a family bathroom and On suite with plenty of room to move in. Added bonuses are storage in both of the facilities and shelves in the shower cubicles. The cleanliness of the property was second to none. Thank you to the owners for providing first class holiday accommodation.

Lovely home in a great place to explore the coastline and surrounding area.

Spotlessly clean and very well maintained. Equipped with everything you could need. Great garden with a good seating area and lots of outdoor play equipment provided. Although a great many slugs were enjoying the garden too. The only issue for us was the mattresses on the beds and the pillows. They were very firm. It caused a bad back all week for one of the party which resulted in a bit of a downer on the holiday. And another went and bought pillows to use for the stay. Realise this is very subjective and for others they would be completely fine.

House was lovely.

Clean, had everything you could want. Lovely spot, lovely garden. Set up great for kids too. Only small recommendation could do with 1 more chair in living room for the 6 of us & enough for 4 pillows per room. Think you loved it!

Very pretty garden. Situated in a quiet position.The owners had thought of everything for our needs.The bungalow was of very high standard and extremely clean.We had the pleasure of meeting the owners such a lovely couple.Would highly recommended this bungalow if you like peace and quiet.Local shop and supermarket very near.Would not hesitate in booking this again.

A superb holiday home which has been finished to the highest standard.

The property was spotless and we could have been the first ever tenants, it was like a show home! Close to Newquay and lots to see and do near by. We had a lovely 2 weeks and could find nothing fault. Thank you.

What a wonderful home and a great location for travelling around Cornwall.

The bungalow is in a very quiet and secure location. If it had stopped raining, the private south face garden would have been great to sit in enjoy a glass or two. One of our party has mobility issues and it was very easy to get round the property and access the shower independently. Plenty of utensils and for a change, great cooking pans. I have purchased and already had a delivery! We were privileged to have met with Tina and Colin the owners, lovely couple. Definitely a place we would return to.

Wow what a beautiful holiday home.

It is in a lovely quiet stop just outside Newquay. The property has absolutely everything you could possibly need. 3 lovely size bedrooms, comfortable beds. Lovely big bathroom. Huge open plan lounge, kitchen diner. A laundry room and a beautiful garden. The owners have thought of everything they even provided dishwasher tablets washing up liquid, foil clingfilm all the things I would normally need to bring with me or buy. The garden gets the sun all day long. There are bodyboards for the kids to use, buckets and spades and garden games. I would say this is the BEST holiday home we have ever stayed in and will definitely be recommending to friends and family.. and will definitely return to this beautiful place ( I call it my dream home). And thank you for the lovely cream tea welcome gift.

This property was absolutely awesome, when we arrived there was a welcome pack with a cream tea, cider and fudge, the whole place was spotless, they thought of everything, and if there was a problem they were on hand.

Fantastic holiday property.

Immaculately clean with everything needed for comfortable stay. Lovely open plan space for families to enjoy time together. Great cooking facilities too. The garden was a great space for children and adults with garden games and plenty of seating. Perfectly positioned for touring around the area. Wonderful beaches within easy reach. We highly recommend this amazing holiday home.

This was our second time staying here.

The bungalow was spotless and very comfortable. The kitchen would benefit from more cooking utensils but other than that there really are no negatives. I would definitely book here again. Thank you.

No problems.

If anything the large plant in the living area rquires replacing or a trim as it obscures the tv when everyone is present. Maybe swapping it with the tv is worth a try. Even so, very likely to book again.

We had a lovely stay and the property was everything we wanted and more.

It’s in a great location. We found that most places were close by and didn’t involve too much driving. The garden centre restaurant was a great little find, great food and the staff were all lovely and just literally a 2 minute walk. We would definitely book again as we all enjoyed our stay and the kids didn’t want to leave!

This property is a real gem!

Set in a great location near lots of of wonderful beaches and not far from many wonderful places of interest in Cornwall. The facilities of this home are fantastic. It is modern, spacious and very clean. A fully equipped kitchen and utility room. A lovely sunny garden with space to dine and relax outside, with even a place to hang wetsuits and store any equipment. We will certainly be back again when we next visit Cornwall.

Lovely bungalow - immaculately presented and loved the garden.

The welcome basket was a lovely gesture. Ideal location for exploring! Main Beds comfortable but a little low. Strange not having a tumble drier - we were lucky with the weather but would have been a different story if it was wet ! Did find the ring doorbell on the front fence slightly off putting - the owners are very transparent about it but I still found it a bit odd !

Beautiful bungalow well situated in a very quiet area but close to amenities.

Comfortable for six people with plenty of hot water available at all times. Other properties we have stayed in have had more provided eg books, toys and more kitchen equipment but this didn’t distract from a great stay.

Cannot fault bungalow location.

We felt that it lacked sufficient crockery to fully utilise the dishwasher in these energy conservation times. Also we found noise travelled through the thin plasterboard walls. These are minor gripes of an almost perfect place to holiday.

Lovely property, well equipped and in a great location for getting around Cornwall.

The only reason for not giving top marks for comfort (and it’s not a complaint) was the low bed - I am quite tall and have back issues! Everything else was spot on.

This very new spacious, beautiful bungalow is set in a very private and quiet location whilst remaining close to what my party needed.

The fittings, fixtures and finish of the property were superb, the owners lived nearby and were contactable if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Over 30 years travelling to Newquay for holidays, staying in hotels and self catering.

This home exceeds all others, and is simply the best. Modern, spacious, all possible amenities, private and yet a few minutes from Newquay. We hope to be back soon for a 3rd time.

Such a fantastic house full of what a family of 6 needed.

The kids loved the garden, we all loved the beautiful lounge/diner/kitchen and I loved the washing machine! You would not be disappointed staying here. Plenty of pubs about with play areas. Not far from the best beaches in the uk (in my opinion) We don’t want to be home. Thanks so much
