Superb location if you like quiet place to stay accommodation very comfortable, WiFi slightly intermittent but over all cannot fault the property.

A good central location to visit areas of north Cornwall. Lovely pub/restaurant in St Tudy highly recommend.

We were welcomed by the owner Anthony who showed us around. Even though the weather did its best to ruin our stay we had a lovely time.

Absolutely fell in love with Trevenning Barn.

The lovely Anthony welcomed us and showed us around the property. Had everything we needed for a quiet and relaxing stay. Our dog Paddy was in his element in the paddock area and went on lots of great walks around the area. Can wait to return.

Great place to stay - highly recommended.

Comfortable accommodation, upstairs living room with country views and the dine in kitchen is a very hospitable place for eating and chatting. Nice sun trap terrace if you're lucky enough to have sunny weather. Good walks and local pubs and the north coast and its lovely beaches a short drive. Anthony, the owner, was on sight and helpful but unobtrusive. Would without doubt stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Trevenning Barn.

The property was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. The beds were very comfortable with good quality bedding. There were many little extras such as hand soap in all bathrooms and kitchen, tea and coffee, dishwasher tablets and there was milk in the fridge and a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us. Outside the use of the paddocks was great for our dogs and the sunsets were amazing. We would definitely stay here again .

Great location, really peaceful area.

Lucky enough to have some clear nights to see stars, no light pollution! Fabulous sized barn, loads of space for 4 adults. Great having 2 bathrooms Large well equipped kitchen, plus the addition of a utility room. We found the barn extremely comfortable and warm, loved the log burner too. We arrived the day after storm Goretti, due to the storm the power went out for a few hours, Kingsley was very supportive and reported to national grid, power came back on later in the evening. Great communication and thank you for our bottle of bubbles We absolutely loved our stay and hope to be back

A good position for exploring North Cornwall. The owner, Anthony, is very welcoming and gave us a good tour of the property on arrival. Lovely views and land around the property.

Lovely property well equipped kitchen with everything you require, the rooms are a good size, lounge on the 1st floor, seating was lovely and comfortable, with plenty of windows to let the light come through, the views were lovely.

It was nice to see, and much appreciated the welcoming we had, and the bottle of wine. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Would recommend a visit

Trevenning Barn was perfect.

A beautiful setting, so peaceful. The barn itself is lovely. Really cosy and comfortable. The kitchen is really well equipped and the utility room was a bonus. The beds were super comfy and the twin room was perfect for our 2 children. Having the lounge on the first floor allows you to appreciate the wonderful views. The weather wasn't that kind to us but Having this lovely barn to return to and sit out the rain was a pleasure. The only drawback we found was no footpaths nearby to walk our dog but the paddocks provided plenty of space to throw a ball and allow her to run around. I would definitely recommend this property. The property was full of character in a lovely setting.

Presented to an exceptionally high standard and everything you would wish for - log burner, hot showers, clean toilets, good heating, dishwasher and WiFi. Welcome bottle of wine and great information pack. What’s not to like thank you. The Young family.

3rd (but definitely NOT the last) time staying here. It is stunning inside and out. We were greeted on arrival by the owner, who is very pleasant and helpful. The bottle of fizz was very much appreciated. If you like peace and quiet, wildlife, stunning views and sunsets, this place has it all. Just fabulous!

Accommodation is 5 star with high levels of cleanliness. Having the 2 dogs, the paddocks for exercising was fantastic. Location is good for both north and south coasts. Would definitely return and highly recommend. Nigel and Alison

Lovely to have countryside views with peace & quiet but not far from all the coastal areas we wanted to revisit.

close to great dog friendly beaches. Well maintained cottage and grounds, safely away from roads. A few more kitchen items and I would have given it 5*. We did get some cheep wine glasses from the local supper market so didn't suffer to much. Also no logs provided and only two matches left. But it didn't spoil the experience.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Host friendly but left guests alone unless there was any problems. The beds were so comfortable, firm mattress but not too hard and we loved the downstairs shower, really powerful. The evenings were a little chilly at times, could have done with extra blankets just in case, I was lucky to have packed my fluffy dressing gown. Location was central so we didn’t have to drive miles to visit places.

We had a lovely stay - would have liked to know how to turn the heating up a notch as it was chilly in the evenings but the weather was pretty mild so it didn’t matter.

We could have used the wood burner but saved it for when/if it suddenly got colder. Beautiful location and handy for revisiting old/popular haunts.

We were very surprised by how big Trevenning Barn is and by how wonderfully peaceful it was there, the host made us feel very welcome andafter a few instructions and showing us around he left us to it.

You are central to anywhere else you might want to goo too. I would recommend this property 100 % and would be more than happy to go back there

Outside there was adequate parking and access to a large garden with chairs. The owner was helpful and approachable.

The owners are very helpful and nothing is to much trouble for them if you need anything. Property is very spacious and clean and the kitchen has all you home comforts and mod cons. I will definitely be booking to stay here again

Our first time in Cornwall and we weren’t disappointed.

Trevenning Barn is lovely and was perfect for us, lots of room, clean and tidy with everything you will need. Plenty of paddock area to walk your dog and a neat garden area which would be lovely in the summer. Very peaceful and tranquil and we would love to stay again soon.

Peaceful and calm. Everything we could hope for and more. Beautiful views, very clean & tidy inside and out. Owners are very friendly and discreet. In close proximity to all the beautiful sites. We had a fantastic week with our two dogs and would highly recommend it.

A fabulous base for exploring the beauty of Cornwall and a successful ancestor hunt.

Trevenning Barn was just the perfect retreat after busy days out and about. Only recommendations for even more comfort would be extra blankets for beds especially for those chilly nights & larger bath towels (those provided a little small for my 6ft son)!

This was one of the best places that we have stayed in.

Quiet throughout the day and night, comfy and well equipped. Comfy beds and good pillows, and clean throughout. If we come back to Cornwall, we'll stay here for sure.

We were delighted with our stay, the barn is convenient for visiting locations in all directions yet very peaceful.

There was loads of space to amuse our grandaughter of 8years with casual badminton and tennis returns and introducing her to french cricket. Had we more time we would have been tempted to open the croquet set and see if past skills were still retained. Most enjoyable in all respects.

Place was very clean, everything you needed was provided, good parking and wonder grounds. We really couldn't fault it. Bigger than we expected and stunning inside and out. We can't wait to book again! This will be our cornwall holiday go to!!!

Such a lovely tranquil setting away from the hussle and bustle.

Nicely done barn conversion with plenty of outdoor space. Great for a couple or small family. Wonderful to watch the aerial display of the local housemartins nesting. Totally relaxing.

Lots of paddocks to walk the dogs, although nowhere totally enclosed to let our rather wilful 2 year old out without supervision.

Lovely views. Lots of places to sit outside in large mown areas. Lovely upstairs lounge.

It's a pity we couldn’t book decent weather as well! Because the temperature was well below that of an average May we found The Barn a bit chilly even though the heating was on. Otherwise we would certainly return.

Very comfortable and spotless.

Lovely quiet area and the view was brilliant. Only suggestion would be for the addition of a proper barbecue.

We had a lovely holiday and the cottage was lovely, however we were due to come in June and paid June’s price of £630.

Due to COVID this was not possible so had to rebook for November and on your website the price for a week in November is £385 meaning we have paid £245 more than it should be for the same week. We are disappointed about this and have had no help whatsoever from Sykes ignoring emails etc etc. I feel we should have been refunded the difference of £245!!

Lovely presented cottage which makes you feel at home from home.

Beautiful position and central for visiting many beautiful Cornish places. Even weather couldn't dampen our spirits. Will definitely return.

This cottage is in a great location, ideal for exploring the local area and nice and peaceful for relaxing after a day out.

Directions to Trevinning Farm are not quite accurate.

The signpost from the B road just says TREVINNING and does not say Trevinning Farm. Otherwise, no further comment.

An excellent place to stay.

Very comfortable and quiet. The cottage is within easy reach of beaches and North Cornwall attractions.

Ideal base for exploring, lots to see and do.

Very welcoming hosts who have anticipated all needs. We would highly recommend this very comfortable holiday home.

We had a delightful holiday.

The only inaccuracy in the details for the property was that fuel and power are included. In fact, only a starter pack of fuel is included. This is quite usual but slightly misleading in this instance. I was surprised that the wifi was unsecured which meant I was unable to use it to contact my office (which was a double edged sword!). The broadband was also slow and subject to interruption. But Trevenning Barn is a lovely spacious, well equipped and beautifully clean house in a delightful location.

There were no problems and we had a wonderful break.

Just one small thing - the directions after leaving the A39 onto the B3266 said the turning for Trevenning was two miles but after going back and forth could not find the turning. We decided to go further on and found the turning which was more like four miles. This is only an observation and not a complaint.

Despite one or two glitches during booking re emails not mentioning the dog booking, and being unable to get onto your holiday portal to check our booking, the holiday itself was wonderful, and the cottage was fantastic.

The owners, Anthony and Kathy, should be congratulated on providing excellent accommodation - nothing was overlooked, and it truly was a home from home experience. Many thanks to them both!

Third time visiting this amazing barn.

The Barn is completely spotless, very homely and you are met with the warmest of welcomes. I would never stay anywhere else in Cornwall now we have found this gem!

We thought it was a delightful cottage which was extremely well furnished and equipped to a very high standard.

The owner was most welcoming and an excellent location for exploring Cornwall.

We had a fantastic holiday - perfect settings, and super comfortable accommodation. We took our mum's with us - and the downstairs was perfect for them - brilliant twin bedroom was "L" shaped, and almost like having two single rooms, walk in shower, and easy access to the kitchen for their early morning cups of tea (Even had a sofa which was great when we were cooking they kept us company). When we were all upstairs - having another bathroom meant not having to run up and down to the loo, and the living room was awesome! On one night we had family come to visit us (They live locally and it was great to catch up) - but even with 11 of us upstairs the room was spacious and really companionable. The wood burner is not the usual "twig burner" that many holiday lets have to offer - but made the fireplace the real focal point of the room. Outside the paddock was brilliant for tiring out Milton our Labrador, and the front porch / rear scullery were great for wiping muddy paws (yes - of course it rained!) The owners were lovely - though we hardly saw them, and they made us feel really welcome. Only downside - and it was a big one - having to leave this wonderful cottage to come home. Very nice property well looked after and good quality fixtures and fittings, however it is showing signs of needing a slight refurbishment and lock missing from bathroom door.

Saying this we had very enjoyable week.
