The property

Helford, a stunning barn conversion, sits in the hamlet of Treverva, just two and a half miles from the old Cornish market town of Penryn.

Offering spacious, luxury accommodation in a tranquil, idyllic setting overlooking Argal Reservoir, it is the perfect base for touring the area.

Arrive at Treverva Farm via a private drive leading to the holiday cottages and stables.

The property boasts thoughtfully designed reverse-level accommodation to make the most of the superb views from the open-plan living room.

There are four bedrooms, two of which benefit from en-suite facilities, along with a further bathroom shared between the two bedrooms on the ground floor.

Each bedroom offers zip/link beds, giving you the option of king-size or twin arrangements.

From the doorstep, you can enjoy scenic walks through the surrounding countryside, while a short drive brings you to Falmouth, with its beaches, restaurants, pubs, independent shops, galleries, the National Maritime Museum, and Pendennis Castle.

The property also offers easy access to the Helford River and the nearby Glendurgan Gardens and Trebah Gardens.

Close by, the Kernow Adventure Park provides water sports for all ages, from wakeboarding and ringo rides to an inflatable assault course, ensuring a fun-filled day.

On site, guests can also make use of the grass tennis court, with rackets and balls provided.

Please note the court may be closed in adverse weather to protect the surface.

CONSTANTINE

Falmouth 7.1 miles; Truro 13.4 miles.

Constantine is a charming, picturesque country village with a few shops, a pub and a lovely church, set among green rolling meadows and wooded valleys leading down to the beautiful Helford River, just 3 miles away. Famous for its mild climate, this quieter part of Cornwall has the outstanding gardens of Trebah, Penjerrick, Glendurgan and Carwinion all within 4 miles. For nature lovers and those who enjoy boats, the misty reaches of the Helford River meander upstream to Gweek, where the world-renowned Seal Sanctuary looks after the region’s many abandoned and injured seals. Falmouth, with its narrow streets, natural harbour and National Maritime Museum is just a short journey by car, while Flambards theme park (8 miles) and Argal Lake with its water sports attractions make great days out. The nearby beautiful Lizard Peninsula, with its outstanding beaches and quaint fishing villages dotting the rocky coastline, has the benefit of outstanding scenery, tranquillity, and some great walks.
