The property was easy to find and situated in a lovely quiet area.

The cleanliness was exceptional and rooms were light, well furnished and smelt fresh. Beds were comfy and bathrooms good. The kitchen/diner was excellent with everything you could need and easy to use appliances. We loved the outdoor space with its view through the palm trees to Gull Rocks in the bay. Fantastic sunsets! Ten minute walk down to the beach bar and beyond that, one of the best beaches in Cornwall. Perfect accommodation for our age ranges 7 to 70 and two happy dogs.

The accommodation was very well equipped with everything thought of. There was beach equipment and children’s toys for the garden in the shed. Having a washing machine and tumble dryer was very useful when travelling with children! The kitchen was well equipped so it was easy to prepare our own meals. There is also a pub close by which serves lovely food. I would definitely recommend Palm view

This is such a fabulous place to stay and everything has been considered to make your stay easy. The beds and sofa are really comfortable, the garden just lovely. All is well maintained. I could live in it! Didn’t want to leave. Great location, with the beautiful Holywell beach just a short walk away. We’ll be back for sure.

First class accomodation.

Home from home,has everything needed for a quality weeks holiday. The garden is lovely and very secure,tested by our Springer spaniel who will always check for escape routes. The beach and dunes are a 10 minute walk away. Lots more places of interest within easy reach. We would certainly reccomend Palm View.

Wow - where to start!

The scones, jam, cream, and milk which greeted us were very much appreciated, thank you! Palm View is the cleanest, most well-equipped rental we have ever stayed in. Comfy beds, lovely bed linen, super comfy recliners in the lounge, gorgeous kitchen, fabulous garden, the list is endless! Everything we needed was there, it is a real home from home. Instruction labels on appliances - what a bonus! The owners really have thought of absolutely everything. We were sad to leave and cannot wait to return!

Everything about Palm View was outstanding!

Immaculately clean and well thought out accommodation, the owners appear to have provided just about everything a family may need whilst staying in their holiday home. The secure dog friendly garden was a real bonus Lovely coastal walks and beaches nearby. We really hope to return again next year.

Palm view was first class, every need was taken care of.

So comfortable with great facilities. The TV and WiFi worked really well. Being able to bring our dog with us made our lives a lot easier and the garden was very secure. We would certainly consider renting this property again

Great Stay.

Lovely Bungalow, and you could see owners had thought of every eventuailty and possible use of facilities. Good position in relation to visiting beaches, and other villages. Several local eateries and bars, lots of walks (Dogs were happy) First time in Holywell, could easily be our go to place in Cornwall.

Wow we absolutely love Palm View, it was so comfortable & definitely a home from home with everything you need & much more.

It was by far the best home from home that we’ve ever stayed in. It was a beautiful place & the sea view from the kitchen & bedroom were a wonderful surprise. Holywell Bay is a perfect location for exploring the beach & eating out. Within 5 minutes walk of 2 fantastic pubs/eateries. It’s also an ideal location for exploring Cornwall, we spent a lot of time exploring but our highlights were a day in Looe & Polperro & a day at Mawgan Porth. We did try to go to Newquay a couple of days but couldn’t get parked anywhere so I guess you need to be up early to visit. We can highly recommend the Cream Teas at the Rattler visitors centre - delicious! We arranged a Sainsbury’s delivery for the afternoon that we arrived & it was perfect rather than having to travel to the supermarket after a long journey. We tried to extend our stay before we arrived but it was fully booked. We’d have loved to have stayed another week. We’ll definitely book again.

Palm View is a fabulous, well appointed holiday property.

We have been holidaying with family (our children and more recently our grandchildren), in and around Holywell Bay for many years. Palm View is by far our favourite stay to date. The property owners, Shane and Nikki had thought of and provided absolutely everything, to make this an outstanding holiday stay. We very much hope to return. Thank you.

Lovely property, equipped with everything you need.

Sunset views from the garden over the sea amazing. Short walk to the gorgeous beach, but quite steep to walk back up if you’re older, but National Trust car park next to beach. Beach bar and pub very good. Very relaxing break. We did have a problem with a huge number of air fresheners, but the owner said he will remove them. Also don’t advise parking on drive as our car grounded as I have read in a previous comment.

Lovely house with excellent facilities and fully equipped.

Comfy beds. Easily controlled heating to suit the weather or preferences of the group. Fabulous kitchen. We cooked and baked - even found some birthday candles to use! First house we've rented that had a pizza tray too for the oven! The garden is a great space, including the summer house. Glimpses of the sea and the fascinating rocks out at sea. Shane was extremely helpful and responded quickly with any answers we needed. Just one observation about the ensuite, it is very good use of limited space, with shower, toilet and small washbasin, but for anyone of significant size it could feel very cramped. However the main family bathroom shared between the other two rooms is spacious and very smart. Just a short stroll to the beach - which is a fabulous beach. Dunes, rolling waves, awesome view, wonderful sunset. Lovely beach bar with restaurant and even closer to home The Tregarth Inn - thatched roof very old pub. Served the best burger I've ever had. Would definitely stay again as we'd love to spend more time in Holywell bay for the dunes and waves and that great view and sunsets. Thank you.

Seldom have we stayed anywhere where everything had been thought of to make your stay perfect. The owner was very helpful and answered any slight query we had promptly. Would recommend without hesitation.

An absolutely stunning holiday property.

The property is immaculate and spotlessly clean. Stylish and really tastefully decorated throughout. All furnishings, kitchen appliances, beds and bedding etc are high quality. The Owners have tried to think of everything you might need and these extra touches don't go un-noticed. Their attention to detail is second to none. The Owners notified me at 2.30pm to confirm it was ready for our arrival. The Owners are at hand if needed and contactable via a text message. I did contact the Owners and had a quick response and Shane was a delight to deal with. The property is 5 minutes walk to the beautiful Holywell Bay Beach. There are also 2 car parks and 2 pubs close to the beach. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay here again. I would go as far as saying it's the best holiday property I have stayed in.

We've just returned from Palm View and had an amazing time.

The property was wonderful and exactly as described. It was clean and in a wonderful location from an amazing beach that had something for everyone. The garden was perfect for our two dogs as it was fully contained. The property had everything that you would need and more. Shane made contact to welcome us and was available if we needed anything, We visited Lands End, Eden Project, and Duchy of Cornwall nurseries for afternoon tea, all of which were around 30-40 mins away. We would highly recommend a stay at Palm View and next time we visit Cornwall, we'll certainly be checking for availability to stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful bungalow in a great location for Holywell beach, lots of nearby attractions & lovely places to eat, we especially loved the smugglers den pub!

The property is well situated, only a short walk to the beach and two very welcoming friendly pubs.

The bungalow is well maintained, and has a mature family garden with views of the sea. You get that home from home feel for the place and the owners are so friendly and accommodating.

It was immaculately clean on arrival and has everything you need. Sea view from the kitchen and the bedroom, enclosed, safe garden and a couple of minutes walk to the pub. You can walk down to the beach, which is spectacular. Thoroughly enjoyed our week here and hope to return.

Had a great stay at palm view really well equipped, comfortable accommodation.

quiet area and close to beach .The londis on the caravan park is great for supplies and a morning paper.The only negative is the single beds may be great for children but a bit uncomfortable for adults we did report the tumble dryer not working on the last day but didn’t hear back

Palm View has been a wonderful home from home for us for this last week.

The owners have really thought of everything you could possibly need to enjoy your holiday. We loved the garden, fully enclosed and safe for our 2 dogs. The beach is just a 5 minute walk down the road and there are lovely walks either way on the coastal path with fantastic views of the coastline. The local pub is very friendly and there is a great Quiz on Wednesday nights not to be missed All in all our family from 58 years old to 8 months all had a great stay at Palm View and it thoroughly deserves its 5 stars Thankyou.

A very well equipped and comfortable bungalow.

The best accommodation we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean with stylish furniture. The owner has gone over and above board to make this accommodation more homely than just a basic holiday home. The enclosed and private garden with the additional summer house was a real bonus. Couldn’t have asked for more. Definitely recommended and will stay again.

What a beautiful holiday home.

Its wonderfully well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and beds make for an excellent stay. The bathrooms are clean and well presented. Outdoors is a lovely garden, with comfy furniture and a wonderful addition of the cabin. An attentive host who contacted us before we arrived and part way through the week. I cannot explain how brilliant this property is!

!! Brilliant location, superb position and when we walked in, immaculate! The pictures for this property do NOT do this justice as looks extremely modern however it is VERY homely clean, modern and extremely comfortable! Everything you can imagine is supplied from cleaning materials, a very manageable, immaculate kitchen with washing machine, dryer and dishwasher! The oven is brilliant (NEFF) with a great hob and upgraded extractor fan! The garden is amazing with lovely shrubs, plants, and there is even a smoking area which is rare with properties today! (I am a smoker). Brilliant showers although en-suite very small but, adequate! Beds extremely comfortable as are the pillows! Nicki has ensured the lady staying has the right equipment with dressing table, light and mirrors! Do NOT park on the driveway to the driveway in front of garage as we have low sills on our Audi which caught and the neighbour came out and directed us to the rear parking space round to the rear! There is a fantastic garden shed which you can have a night with a few beers if the weather isn’t good! Only criticism was that the garden furniture was very uncomfortable as they need deeper, heavier garden pads! Would we stay here again, absolutely yes and cannot understand why this property is not booked all through the year!!!! Thanks Shane and Nicki for the fantastic experience you have given us!!!! Just spent a very enjoyable week in Palm View.

The bungalow has everything you could possibly wish for to make your holiday comfortable. Lovely enclosed garden for the dogs, nice secure parking for cars. I can’t honestly think of anything negative to say, would definitely recommend staying here, truly deserves its 5 ⭐️.

Firstly, the photos show it larger than it really is even though it was big enough for us.

Dogs were safe in the garden & that was a large plus. Cleanliness? For most it was very clean, but I must say that that 2 of the freezer trays were dirty & had to be cleaned before use. (Bits of food gone green in corners) Dog lost her ball under settee & she came out covered in fluff & dirt. When looking to see under, would say it is months of dirt under them. Hoovered before we left & the cleaner should empty it, as was nearly full with dirt. Instructions on how to use appliances would be great, as we have never used them sort of appliances before & sure that other will have same problem. Sky TV, but need code to access most of it unless watching the free channels. Maintenance was fast, great & friendly when we needed him for a problem, but that did not stop us doing anything. Now for the overall stay of two weeks: Neighbours are very friendly & helpful. We had a very nice stay & it was easy to get to shops. great fish & chips from the Village Fish & Chips Shop in Cubert were fantastic, nicely priced & only 5 mins in car. Both our dogs loved it there & meeting neighbour’s dogs with advise on where to take them, & we had a very nice overall stay. Easy parking was an advantage when raining. En suite bathroom bed is great but other bed needs a topper of mattress change. We will use again when we go to Cornwall, as it is a great place to stay & easy access to other parts of south Cornwall. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves & sorry we had a few bits that needed speaking about, but without telling you, you don't know.

The property was well situated in a quiet residential street.

The facilities were good and it had everything you might need in the kitchen, although we did find that the dining area was a little ‘snug’ for table, chairs and 6 adults! The lounge seating was comfortable. The bedrooms were ok for our requirements, however, the en suite bathroom was somewhat cosy to say the least! Really enjoyed the garden as we were able to use it for every day of the holiday.

We have been coming to holywell bay for over 25 years and have many memories and staying at Palm view just added one.

The bungalow was lovely and well maintained, plenty of space and well located in a quiet area just a few minutes walk from the beach and friendly local pubs. Myself and family would stay here again and highly recommend this property.

We stayed as a family with our cockapoo.

This is our second visit to Holywell Bay and the first to Palm View. The property didn't disappoint. Very clean and modern. Lovely secure and private garden and views of the sea (I could even view the sea laying on my bed!). The area itself is very quiet, a few minutes walk to a fantastic beach and the property felt like a home from home with all mod cons. I would definitely recommend and return for future holidays with my family.

We have enjoyed a long awaited holiday at Palm View, we travelled around the area by car, visiting Padstow, Port Issac, Tintagel, Newquay, Perranporth and St Ives.

We walked from the house along the beautiful beach, over the dunes and around the coast path to Perranporth, this was amazing although a little hair raising in places, not for the faint hearted. We went to the local pub, where the dogs were welcomed, the food was nice and we joined in with the Wednesday evening quiz, which was great fun. The café just by the beach was amazing and dog friendly too, offering, amongst a full menu, coffee and pastries to rave about. Palm View itself was extremely clean and comfortable, the garden is completely enclosed, even our tiny dog couldn't escape. Parking on the drive, very friendly and peaceful area 10/10 will look forward to staying again.

Good level parking to side of property made it easy for dogs to be let into garden. Master bedroom was well set up with a fabulous quality bed for a good nights sleep. Will definitely return.

We went out of season and area very quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately the two local pubs appeared closed. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
