Overall the property was clean and met our needs.
It was a good central base to explore Cornwall although it is quite remote with the nearest village a fair distance away up narrow lanes with no footpaths. Ok for those that like seclusion but was a bit too remote for us as we would have liked to walk to a pub or shop but couldn't. We enjoyed the holiday but would look for something with a bit more life nearby for anything in the future. The card and bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch and the owner seemed quite friendly when chatting. The outside seating area could have been a little better and there were a few cobwebs higher up in the cottage that were missed on cleaning. There were a few lights out in the living room area but it didn't matter because there were plenty of others so we didn't feel it necessary to report it. The checks for this could be a little more thorough.
A last minute stay but was really nice.
We had our dog but you have no private garden, so need to walk out on lead, which was fine. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed. The only wish would have been a more comfortable sofa.
