We arrived at an immaculate barn conversion, greeted by the owners with a cream tea.

Can't fault accomodation, very satisfied with holiday.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped.

The hosts were lovely. They welcomed us and explained a few things, such as what to do with waste. There was a cream tea laid out for my husband. Unfortunately, as a Coeliac, I had to decline this, but the host was very happy to try and provide a gluten‑free alternative if I had wanted one. There are six acres of fields to roam, and the cottage is well situated for visiting several popular tourist attractions. Many beaches are within a 20–30 minute drive, on both the north and south coasts. If I had to comment on anything, it would be that the steps down to the kitchen and to the second bedroom should be mentioned in the description so that less able guests are aware of this. Otherwise, it’s a lovely place to stay.

Was not a massive problem but I think the owners were a bit miffed. Cottage and stay was perfect, very relaxing and owners were pleasant hosts.

The property was as described, clean and in good order.

The hosts were friendly and helpful, the cream tea was a nice touch with a declaration from our son that they were as good as grandma’s which is high bar to attain! In a nice setting with rural views, would happily stay again.

We had a wonderful two week stay at Mynheer Farm Barn.

The cottage is comfortable and extremely well equipped with everything you could need from kitchen equipment, games, an outside sink to wash out sandy wetsuits etc. It’s in a good location for visiting this part of Cornwall and there are also nice walks straight from the house. Peter and Ju are perfect hosts- on hand and very helpful if you need them, but give you space to enjoy your holiday otherwise. We enjoyed playing football and family games in the large fields next to the cottage. We made use of the EV charging point at the cottage a couple of times- it took a few goes to connect but was very convenient once it did.

The accomodation was faultless, with all you need and everything finished to a very high standard. The location is ideal, with beautiful towns and beaches easily accessible on both the north and south coastlines of Cornwall. Pete and Ju were very welcoming, and I would not hesistate to book again.

Pete and julia the hosts are so friendly, always on hand if you need them. The barn itself is really lovely, clean and comfortable. Everything you need , home from home. Mynheer Barn is a wonderful holiday home.

It had everything we needed and is well looked after by our excellent hosts, Pete and Ju. Great location for getting around Cornwall to visit lots of places. It gets a strong recommendation from us.

From the moment we arrived with a warm welcome from Ju and Pete, to the moment we left, Mynheer Farm Barn met our every need.

It is immaculate, and a great credit to the owners. Thanks for the scones & biscuits, showing us the Roman mile stone, and opening the Resource Centre at Gwennap Pit, plus lovely chats. Highly recommend Sunday Carvery at the Star Inn at Vogue. We even made it to Carn Marth on our "No Car" day. Perfect surroundings for an enjoyable Cornish holiday.

This was for our birthdays. Ju and Pete were an absolute delight. The barn was lovely and had everything you could want. We would definitely love to stay here again. The Afternoon tea was a lovely welcome to the barn and Cornwall. Thank you to you both.

We had a lovely stay, a warm welcome from Ju and Pete and a lovely cream tea, compliments to Pete.

The Barn was clean, comfortable and well equipped, the log fire was fantastic and a bonus was the recliner sofas. The barn is very central to visit beaches, we went to Portreath 10 mins drive and Holywell Bay 28 minutes. There is a great pub the star inn just down the hill walking distance they serve great food and people there very friendly we felt like locals for the week. Thank you Ju and Pete for a wonderful stay it made a difficult week for us so much more pleasant as unfortunately we were down for a funeral.

Fantastic accommodation in an excellent location to explore Cornwall.

Do not hesitate to book-you will love it! Pete and Ju were the perfect hosts and we loved the homemade cream tea on arrival. We recommend the Sunday Carvery at The Star Inn (just up the road).

It's home from home, very comfortable, everything provided. The cream tea was very much welcomed after a long journey. Pete and ju are very friendly and welcoming without been intrusive . I didn't want to come home, it's such a lovely place to holiday at.

This is a great place to stay and was our second time staying here.

The facilities and location are perfect for exploring the coast and coves between St Ives and St Agnes, and within easy reach of Lizard and Land's End.

This was the best property that we have ever stayed in.

The cleanest, the best equipped and the most welcoming we have ever found. It is a perfect jumping off point for anywhere in West Cornwall. We really can't fault it and enjoyed our 2 week stay there.

Very fair pricing. Modern, clean, well maintained. We regularly had 'spot the bunny' family competitions! The separate bathrooms was a lovely touch too. Made our girls feel very grown up. The log burner made cold, rainy April evenings cozy and warm. I cannot genuinely find one negative thing to say. Definitely would come back to Mynheer Farm. 100% outstanding.

Cottage was well equipped and very comfortable with lots of thoughtful extra touches. We made good use of the outdoor sink and boot tray for cleaning and storing muddy boots! The Cornish cream tea was a real treat after a long journey. The hosts were friendly and welcoming but not intrusive.

Excellent holiday cottage.

Very well equipped and furnished and set up for a great holiday. The owners have paid real attention to detail and are on-site and helpful if needed but respect guest's privacy too. Great location, particularly for the north coast beaches from Godrevy to St Agnes all within 30mins or less. Even the Lizard is less than 60mins away.

Lovely barn in a peaceful location with glorious views.

There is everything you would need in the barn, it is very well equipped. Lovely and clean and very friendly owners. I liked the fact that both bathrooms and kitchen had cleaning products available, this is very handy as I've stayed in other barns without these, and had to purchase myself. The barn is not far from many lovely places to visit, beaches and activities too, but also a lovely peaceful place to return and relax in. I would recommend this, as we will definitely return here. Our stay at Mynheer Farm Barn was exactly what we expected.

The barn was extremely comfortable, clean and welcoming. Ju and Pete made us feel at home and were always very friendly but not intrusive in any way. The cottage was very well equipped and we found nothing lacking. The cream tea and milk in the fridge was a lovely start to our holiday. The Barn is in a quiet location with fields to walk and explore at your leisure, if you want peace and comfort this is the cottage for you. The location is perfect with St Ives, The Lizard, Falmouth, St Just and Godrevy beach all within easy distance. We cannot fault the cottage with all its facilities, the location and Pete and Ju for the opportunity to share their wonderful part of Cornwall.

Clean and tidy with everything you need and situated in a quiet location yet not far away from anywhere. The friendly and helpful owners Ju and Pete welcomed us when we arrived along with a lovely cream tea and were always available if needed but were never intrusive. The pub is just a 10 minute walk away which does lovely, reasonably priced food. We would highly recommend this property.

Would highly recommend it as a place to stay with many great days out easily accessible from the cottage. I’m sure we’ll be back again at some point!

We had a lovely stay at Mynheer Farm Barn.

The barn was exceptionally clean, fully equipped and in a very quiet location overlooking fields.. The village of Vogue is a 10 minute walk away where there is a pub with outdoor seating and the town of Redruth is a 5 minute drive away with a train station enabling you to access much of Cornwall without a car. Although the barn is inland it is actually in a great location for accessing many of the main towns in Cornwall. We drove to St. Ives in 30 minutes, Newquay in 30 minutes, Penzance in 30 minutes, Padstow in 50 minutes and Looe in 1 hour and 10 minutes. It is a 15 minute drive to the nearest stretch of coast. Ju and Pete who own the barn were lovely, considerate and very helpful hosts and they really enhanced our stay at the barn. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome - a few examples being, Pete's lovely homemade scones on our arrival with jam and cornish cream, providing towels for us when we went to the beach as we had forgotten to bring any, lending us a detailed book on coastal walks when we told them that is what we planned to do on a couple of days.) We would highly recommend a stay at the barn and keep telling our friends and family that if they go to Cornwall the barn is the place to stay. We too hope to return one day!!

An extremely well presented, comfortable and equipped property in a quiet and peaceful location but within easy reach of the attractions of the area.

It is the best holiday property we have used. The owners were very welcoming and have used their knowledge and skills to provide an excellent accommodation.

The barn was ready for us, with a Cornish cream tea prepared for our arrival.

(This was adapted to accommodate gluten and dairy intolerances.) We were warmly welcomed by the property owner who showed us around and checked we had everything we needed, before leaving us to unpack and get settled in. They were always on hand but never intruded. It was one of the best holiday places we have stayed in. I would recommend it to anyone who needs a comfortable well equipped and cosy place to stay.

We had a lovely week staying in the Barn, it was very spacious and comfortable with everything we needed.

The owners are friendly and helpful but respected our privacy, they have put a lot of effort into providing good accommodation and we appreciated the delicious cream tea, flowers and milk on arrival. The Barn is in a good location for exploring the area, the local pub in Vogue serves good food and a bit further on in St Day is a well stocked family run shop. We enjoyed our holiday and wished we could have stayed longer.

Great property and hosts, would stay again!

We have had a lovely stay in January 2022 here.

The cottage is immaculate. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. We have a 1 and 3 year old so somewhere spacious for them to play was important, the property was the perfect size for us. We flew a kites on the field beside the property along with monster hunting with torches on the evening. The cottage is situated in a perfect position to go to both South and North sides of Cornwalls coast. Each direction is around 20-30mis away. Local shops are a 2 minute drive away and they have everything there. There are 2 local pubs that serve lunch and evening meals. We have stayed in many cottages now and think this one is our favourite.

The barn was literally a home from home for us.

It is a spacious, well furnished and equipped cottage. The WiFi was excellent, good sized TV and a fabulous wood burner. All information was provided about the appliances and we cooked regularly with ease. Pete and Ju, the owners, were extremely accommodating. We will be returning to this wonderful place soon.

The barn is just lovely. Not a spec of dust, crumb on the floor or hair in the bathroom. The place was again spotlessly clean. You couldn’t ask for better owners in Ju and Pete who go out of their way to ensure you’re comfortable. A lovely couple who are really easy to talk too and make a real effort with guests. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and the cream tea on arrival is a lovely touch along with the pint of milk and fresh flowers on the table. The barn itself is just amazing and the 6 acres of fields for the kids to play in really does add something too. Private, secure off street parking. A real home from home. Waking up to the view of the fields every morning....magic. Would recommend in a heartbeat (and have already done so to Friends)

The property was beyond what we were expecting, it was clean and very well equipped. Although the owners are next door, we were given complete privacy and if we needed anything all we had to do was call!! We had access to the fields surrounding the property and nothing was off limits. I highly recommend the barn for your break away, and am already looking to book for next year. It's location was perfect as it enabled us to visit many sites both locally and further distanced. The owners were really accomodating and informative. A great holiday was had within these disruptive Covid19 times.

Lovely hosts and the house was very nice.

Kids loved to play in the fields next to the house. If I was being picky I would say the sofas was uncomfortable. Other than that lovely place to set up camp.

Cottage is in a great rural location to go off and explore gorgeous Cornwall. It was really clean with everything we needed for our week away. We did have an issue with the fridge but the owners sorted a temporary one out for us while we were there and the cream tea on arrival was a lovely touch.

A lovely cottage in a peaceful and perfect central location for exploring Cornwall.

The view from the main bedroom was very pleasant with glass from the floor to the top. The view overlooked the c. 5 acres of farm land. Ju & Pete were really friendly and accommodating and nothing was too much trouble for them. We used some of their additional storage to securely store our bicycles and they also provided additional freezer space due to the pandemic to avoid us having to shop as frequently. Their was a rotary washing line and a separate cleaning area with full tap, Belfast sink and cleaning equipment. It was perfect for cleaning the wet suits and sandy body boards! The location is perfect for visiting a number of locations and these are some of the places within 30-45 minutes travelling distance. Perranporth, St Ives, Gwithian (great for surfing/body boarding with a large car park), Eden Project, Mousehole, Land's End, Lizard Point (great for a nice walk), Mullion Cove and Porthleven (great for watching the tide come in when it's stormy), Portreath, Porthtowan, Falmouth, Bodmin (great for cycling) and Truro (great for shopping on a rainy day). Mynheer Farm Barn is a wonderful place to stay and comes highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived nothing was too much trouble for the owners Ju and Pete, and the delicious cream tea was appreciated!. With the current COVID 19 situation, we were unsure what to expect, but the barn was immaculately kept and we had no concerns regarding its cleanliness. The location was ideal for visiting all that Cornwall has to offer and our two children, aged 14 and 11 made good use of the owners three fields, with lots of evenings spent playing games in them. The barn itself has everything that you could need, and really is home from home. The beautiful view from the master bedroom was delightful and we can't wait to visit again.

They left us to our own devices but when needed were there to help. The accommodation was outstanding. The only recommendation I can make maybe a TV in the bedrooms.

Mynheer farm barn was perfect for us ( four adults) Great location for visiting both coasts and many attractions around Cornwall.

We used the local bus service into Redruth and travelled on several bus journeys and good train journeys from the town . Cinema and supermarket in town. Local pub ten minutes walk. Great curry night. The owners are on site which was good as they are very friendly and gave us lots of info on places to visit. Great cosy cottage. Hope to return.

They left us a delicious homemade cream tea when we arrived. We appreciated the information and recommendations they were able to give us. The cottage is of a very high standard and well kitted out. We also appreciated the fact that the house was pet free, as my husband is very allergic to dogs, so is not able to stay anywhere where dogs are allowed.

The position of the cottage for a base to go to north shore and south coast just 30 min drive

It was a great central position for visiting the south of Cornwall, particularly National Trust properties.

The facilities were excellent and the owners were brilliant. We would use this property again if we were going in that direction, and would be more than happy to recommend it to friends.

We have rented cottages in Cornwall many time before and all have been very good.

Mynheer Farm did however, prove to be a cut above the rest and that was in part to our excellent hosts Ju and Peter. It is simply a lovely place in which to stay and suited our family of three admirably. It is excellently furnished, very comfortable beds and a really lovely kitchen and lounge. We were sad to leave on Saturday, but very much hope to pay Mynheer Farm a further visit before too long. A fabulous part of Cornwall to explore as well.

This Cottage was fantastic and we will definitely be going back. A cottage that actually deserved its high rating.
