    “Almost perfect Lodge, first walked and looked sround gave us the wow factor, nice very small little touch thst made a big difference afterca long journey was a small bottle of milk in fridge, we both liked that.”

    2 small details that reduced down the score a panel under the fridge was loose, and when went to bed, there was a big lump on the matress, foam topper had scrunched up, could not flatten it so turned mattress over and there was hair on thst side, and couple of stains on the sheets, not very impressive. Apart from those 2 unimpressive groans the lodge was amazing, well secluded, hottub was well maintained, area was very peaceful and tranquil, very relaxing stay for the both of us and the ...

The property

1 Streamside is a wonderful lodge situated on the secluded Stonerush Lakes site, close to the quaint village of Lanreath in Cornwall.

This superb lodge is an ideal base for a couple or small group who wish to explore all that this area has to offer.

Inside this welcoming lodge is a delightful open-plan living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a pleasant sitting area, from where you can relax with your loved ones.

The bedrooms at your lovely lodge consist of a double with a TV and a convenient en-suite, and a twin, along with a main bathroom with bath and shower over.

Step outside on a sunny day and enjoy the decked terrace area.

Unwind with a drink or dine alfresco and be sure to relax in the bubbling hot tub, a luxury bonus at this delightful lodge.

Should you want a night off from cooking, visit the on-site Old Mill Bar and Restaurant where you can have a relaxing drink with views over Miller’s Island or have a romantic meal.

Two miles away is the village of Lanreath for basic amenities.

The charming seaside resort of Looe has much to offer and Polperro is also worth a visit.

Further afield there's plenty to see and do, from the world-famous Eden Project to the tall ships at Charlestown.

LANREATH

Pelynt 2 miles; Looe 5 miles; Polperro 6 miles.

Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. There are a number of ghost stories associated with Lanreath. The best-known features a ghost in black driving a coach pulled by a headless horse. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
