The well‑equipped kitchen includes everything needed for relaxed self‑catering, ideal for a hearty breakfast before a coastal walk or a leisurely evening meal around the dining table. The comfortable sitting area is perfect for stretching out on the sofa, settling in for a film on the TV or planning the next day’s outing. Two inviting bedrooms offer restful places to end the day: a welcoming double and a twin room suited to children or additional guests. A family bathroom and separate shower room provide useful flexibility for busy mornings. Thoughtful touches throughout ensure an easy, comfortable stay whatever the season. A short stroll brings you to The Old Mill Bar & Restaurant, a popular lakeside venue warmed by a wood burner in cooler months. The lodge overlooking the lakes is amazing.
Beautifully furnished throughout and the hot tub is perfect at the end of the day. The site is well maintained with lovely walks especially if you’re taking a dog. Bistro is fantastic on the site with a good menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking for next year.
Quiet location, parking was an issue if you tried to use the one by the lodge as the ridge caught on the bottom of the car.
Lodge had most things required but fridge door caught on freezer door, shower floor looked pretty rotten, otherwise ok just dated and at £200 a night a bit over the top on pricing. Seeing as the weather was hot, there were no fans provided (luckily we brought our own otherwise it would have been unbearable living in a glorified shed)
We had a lovely time at 3 Lake View.
The lodge was very clean and decorated beautifully. Everything we needed was included. There was even a little welcome box which had washing up liquid, tea towel, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits which was great for that first cup of tea!
