What guests are saying
Sunset cottage is BEAUTIFUL, not over looked, private, and peaceful.
Just what we wanted. Everything had been thought of, and a lovely hamper was waiting for us when we arrived. The owner is lovely, and has done a fantastic job with her property. Definitely recommend.
What you see is what you get.
.........and more! The place is absolutely idyllic and set in wonderful surroundings. Be warned that the walk to the pub is a brisk 12 minutes down hill and worth the effort as a very friendly local. BUT the walk back is easily double that up the very steep hill. We shopped in Barnstaple before we arrived and took all the things we needed for our 5 night stay and very glad we did as we could enjoy a total relaxing time. Zena and her son were very accommodating. Washing service was offered and used as very convenient for us. The unit was very well equipped and anything we needed extra was provided on request as we had family come and join us for an evening meal. It is not cheap, nor should it be. It is superior accommodation and Zena has done a wonderful job in making the place very beautiful, very welcoming and very special.
The cottage and grounds were amazing the nicest cottage we have stayed in and a short drive to lots of lovely towns nearby Zena and family were lovely and the dogs and cats made it even more special
