House kept very clean, comfortable bedrooms, kitchen has excellent and complete array of 'white goods' , china and cutlery, but pots and pans whilst useable are old and some need replacing.

The property is located right in town and has garden back gate to Coop car park making shopping very easy. Summerlease Beach is only about a ten minute walk away

Spacious and adequately comfortable cottage.

Excellent location right in the centre of town and short walk to the beaches. Nice secure garden for the dogs with a view across the golf course but the gate giving access to the Co-op car park had been opened on one occasion when we returned from the beach so we had to check each time before letting the dogs out. Off-street parking was most welcome and the driveway, although very narrow, should be able to accommodate 2 small cars. However, the hedge is very overgrown (and prickly) I could only get out of my car if I reversed on which was tricky as it was so narrow and the hedge scratched the car too. Fairly well equipped kitchen but we failed to find a corkscrew, I appreciate most wine bottles are screw top these days but unfortunately ours had a cork, and I don't wish to be picky but 2 matching wine glasses would have been nice. There were no instructions for anything just a ripped bit of paper pinned to the notice board in the hall that referred to colour codes for the recycling although it didn't say as much. There was no black box for glass and we didn't find the coloured bags at first (they are inside the black dustbins). The dishwasher wasn't very effective so we ended up re-washing a lot by hand. Also there is a loose hinge on the back bedroom door that makes a very irritating noise when the window is open. I don't wish to be negative but they are all such little things that could easily be rectified to give Cranberry another star.

This cottage was so comfortable.

It was incredibly well equipped and peaceful. The location is fantastic, just out of town by a few doors, yet everything is on your doorstep. It’s clean, it’s vey comfortable, the views over the golf course on the large back garden are so lovely. The whitewashed walls have been a dream during the hot spell, it’s made the house a lot cooler, it’s been fantastic for our dog. I think the only thing I would want is a bigger bed in the master bedroom. This might be because we are used to a bigger bed and more space so when sleeping we had had to retreat to the sofa to spread out and sleep comfortably on a few occasions. Only other thing to note is that the drive is very narrow for larger cars and so it’s a bit of a squeeze to get on there. However you can just fit 2 reasonably sized cars on the drive which is useful as parking in Bude can be a challenge. It’s a lovely home, a lovely space to enjoy with your family, we can’t wait to return. Lovely Cranberry
