    “Brookfield is definitely a place to visit more than once.”

    The accommodation is great for a family and the bedrooms are very comfortable, especially the super king bed! The cooking facilities were excellent with every possible pot, pan, plate, and dish you could ask for. The cooker was also easy to navigate! The freezer was a good size and although the fridge seemed to struggle to get down to a cold temperature over the first 24 hours after that, it was fine. The log burner with the massive basket of logs was fantastic for making the evenings cosy ...

    The accommodation is great for a family and the bedrooms are very comfortable, especially the super king bed! The cooking facilities were excellent with every possible pot, pan, plate, and dish you could ask for. The cooker was also easy to navigate! The freezer was a good size and although the fridge seemed to struggle to get down to a cold temperature over the first 24 hours after that, it was fine. The log burner with the massive basket of logs was fantastic for making the evenings cosy during our October break. We were also fortunate enough to have the weather suitable for a dip in the hot tub, which was absolutely wonderful with the views looking over the rolling hills down to the coast and sea. The owner has really thought out everything that you would need for a stay including lots of extra towels for dips in the hot tub and a conveniently located shower to use before your hot tub relaxation session! Finally, there was the added bonus of a pint of milk and an absolutely sumptuous chocolate cake! The cake was absolutely marvellous and enjoyed by all!

When the evening draws to a close, venture back inside to freshen up in either the bathroom or shower room ahead of catching up on your sleep in either the super-king-size, the king-size or the twin bedroom.

On warm days make your way to the coast in Crackington Haven where you can spend the full day watching as the kids play in the sea; here you can also join the South West Coast Path which spans an impressive 630 miles offering endless picturesque trails for keen ramblers.

Follow the path to find Boscastle where you can tour the charming village or admire the force of Pentargon Waterfall or continue on to reach the iconic Tintagel where you can immerse yourself in Arthurian legend with a trip to Tintagel Castle or Merlin’s Cave.
