Description

Situated on a small farm complex of barn conversions, this magnificent retreat promises a heart-warming stay close to the village of East Taphouse.

Families and friends can make the most of the spacious interior and feel right at home in this lovely location.

Upon entering the cottage, you will arrive at a cosy sitting room where all guests can come together and relax in front of the woodburner, or enjoy the full-size pool table, which the children are sure to be impressed by.

Tuck into your favourite meals at the nearby dining table without having to leave the warm layout behind.

Close by, a well-equipped kitchen houses all of those essentials you will need, and is ideal for a warm cup of tea in the morning hours, as you plan your adventures for the day ahead.

The ground floor also boasts a king-size double room with en-suite, whilst the first floor houses a well-presented king-size double room.

Conveniently, a children’s bunkroom holds an additional single bed, so everyone can sleep comfortably from one night to the next.

Outside of the cottage, you will want to make use of the private terrace, which can be accessed via the sitting room.

Whether reading a good book or simply enjoying some fresh air, this is a lovely addition to the cottage.

Located between the historic market towns of Liskeard to the east and the ancient stannary town of Lostwithiel to the west, there is easy access to Polperro and Fowey and many sandy beaches.

Plymouth is only a 30-minute drive away as is the windswept northern coastline, with Padstow, Newquay and Tintagel, for a memorable day out.

Explore all that this cottage has to offer; a perfect seasonal escape.

Had an amazing week!

It was lovely and spacious. Good facilities. Having the pool table was an added bonus and many games had of an evening! Bedrooms and bathrooms were lovely and all in keeping with the barn. A few cleaning issues but nothing that would spoil your holiday, unfortunately the people before us left it in an unacceptable state. Everything you could need for a relaxing holiday, so quiet, good parking. 15 minutes from Looe which was lovely. Definitely booking again for next year. Was just what my family needed.

This is lovely accomodation and in a beautiful area.

Plenty of space for the kids to play and games in the cupboard in case of bad weather, along with a pool table which got loads of use in the evenings when we held a family championship. Small maintenance jobs need completing but nothing serious enough to spoil our time in the Barn. The layout of the cottages meant that no one overlooked other holiday makers. Would be a really nice gesture to have a complimentary welcome hamper as we had been travelling for 8 hrs and would have loved a coffee/cup of tea and a biscuit or cream scone on arrival before we went out to shop without the kids. The floors were characteristically creaky adding to the quirkiness of the place. We had fab weather…. Thankyou for ordering that for us!!! Beautiful home from home…. Beautiful area…. Beautiful weather…. Beautiful holiday….. Beautiful memories. Thankyou.

We have stayed here a number of times.

The property has everything that we need and our two small dogs love running up and down the grass area to the field with cows. Would definitely recommend.
