The Good
A cute cosy cottage in a great location for easy access to beaches, pubs, attractions. Well equipped kitchen, large fridge/freezer, comfy lounge, 3 good sized tv's, 1 parking space right outside front door (although you are parked on a busy junction), opposite a fabulous pub, upper garden has wonderful views and is secure for doggies, and kingsize bed and linens are good quality.

The Good
A cute cosy cottage in a great location for easy access to beaches, pubs, attractions. The Bad
Bathroom floor needs bleaching and scrubbing as it is filthy, oven needs a professional clean, garden needs a good tidy as weeds and nettles throughout, wooden garden table is rotten, no hanging space in upstairs bedroom, hob extractor caked in grease so I cleaned that, Dyson in kitchen broken, two tiny thin toilet rolls provided, and single mattresses need replacing.as lumpy.
The Ugly
Back door needs brute force to close it.
I found a piece of toast in a grey bowl in the kitchen cupboard.
When I stripped the beds on departure day I discovered nasty stains all over the mattress protector.
Bathroom sink drain needs unblocking so I removed the plug to take a look and found a disgusting grimy mess.
You can tell that this is a well used holiday let but with a bit of TLC and a bit more care by the housekeeping staff, a lot of the above could be easily rectified. When I pay £150+ a night I do expect the property to be, at the very least, clean. That all said, Hillside is a pleasant cottage in a great location.

The standards you have described, particularly the condition of the bathroom floor, oven, mattress protector, kitchen cupboard, and sink drain, are certainly not what we aim to provide for our guests. Please accept my sincere apologies for this.
