“Absolutely wonderful stay, my only gripes were that the mattresses were not the most comfortable that I have slept on, there was an ugly stain on the main sofa which caught the eye and spoiled the look of the room and the electric charge point was out of action despite my enquiring prior to my stay as to its condition.”

I had to liaise with the EV supplier as it is not run by the site itself, that was frustrating as it took two days, but eventually the site management found me one that I could use close to my lodge, that said it did not detract from a very nice stay. Meadow retreat stated a quiet relaxing stay and that is exactly what we got. We would definitely be going back.

During the bird nesting season, typically between March and September, the reeds may appear more established than shown in some website photographs. In line with the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, vegetation management may be restricted during this period to help protect nesting birds and other wildlife.
