“We had a fantastic stay at this modern holiday home.”

The property is calm, beautifully designed, very well equipped, and immaculately clean, especially the linen, which felt fresh and high quality. The layout is practical and comfortable, making it easy to relax and enjoy. The hot tub was a real highlight, very functional and perfect for unwinding after a day out. Just one thing- please add where to find washer dryer in the welcome email as it was not obvious but the concierge folks were very responsive and addressed all our needs.

3 Meadow Retreat is a welcoming single-storey lodge tucked away on the edge of Dobwalls in Cornwall.

The gentle crunch of gravel marks your arrival as you step through the gate onto the decked terrace of this inviting, timber-clad lodge.

Inside, you’ll find an open-plan living area at the heart of the home, featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a smart dining space, and a comfortable sitting area.

The kitchen, finished in calming blue tones, includes everything you need to prepare meals with ease—whether you're cooking on the gas hob for a quick bite at the breakfast bar or gathering around the dining table for a more leisurely supper.

After dinner, unwind in the stylish lounge, where you can sink into a sofa and enjoy your favourite shows with the touch of a button.

A charming wooden beam and Velux window bathe the space in natural light, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere.

DOBWALLS

Liskeard 2.6 miles; Looe 8.4 miles.

The rural village of Dobwalls is surrounded by open fields and wooded countryside, and is close to the market town of Liskeard, the slopes of Bodmin Moor and the glorious north and south Cornish coastlines. This is a perfect base for exploring the many delights the region has to offer, with the picturesque fishing harbours of Looe, Fowey and Polperro within 15 miles to the south whilst Padstow and the surfing beach at Polzeath lie a comfortable drive away on the North Coast. Take a trip to Siblyback Lake and enjoy the wonderful sailing, fishing and watersports on offer, or travel a little further and take advantage of the superb walking on Bodmin Moor. The Eden project lies within 15 miles and Plymouth is just a 30 minute drive, or 25 minute train ride from nearby Liskeard station. With the Barbican harbour district, renowned aquarium, and good selection of shops, restaurants and theatres, this is a great holiday base.
