When stars appear overhead, retreat to the first floor and treat yourself to an indulgent soak in the tub or a warm shower, completing your routine before choosing from four beautifully-presented bedrooms, some with Juliet balconies and each offering great flexibility with the sleeping arrangements.
The pretty seaside village of Downderry resides only paces away and offers a traditional Cornish pub and a handy general store where you can stock up on the self-catering essentials.
Pass the time upon the sandy trails at Downderry Beach, with an abundance of rock pools to explore sure to occupy the younger members of your group, or where you can let your pooch run and play freely.
Further afield, spend the day in the popular towns of Looe and Polperro, offering the Old Guildhall Museum and Gaol, East Looe Beach, Polperro Heritage Coast and Polperro Harbour with pretty views of bobbing fishing boats and the surrounding valley.
The excellent Whitsand Bay with its four-mile stretch of sandy beach is also within accessible reach and is a must for beach-lovers!

A few minor areas of tiredness, maintenance neeed, although did not detract from the wonderful experince of both the location and the accomodation.
It was everything that was promised. Hilly if your on foot and the driveway is mega steep. , so make sure your brakes are good and park in gear.
The name of the house lives up to the description…simply glorious views.
Instructions for WiFi use should be on the information leaflet and not require one to have to contact the owners or crawl around on the floor to access the modem. Second bathroom shower alternates between cold and boiling hot water. The walk to the village cannot be described as a stroll with the steep hill and even steeper steps for access. No enclosed area for a dog and the “ narrow garden was more of an untamed jungle. Rest of the house well thought out and comfortable. No hairdryer found and carpets and cushions long overdue for a clean. Excellent kitchen and equipment. Overall a lovely stay but definitely not for anyone with mobility issues or very active dogs requiring an outside space.
This is a lovely property with amazing views.
The accommodation is first class, and very well furnished, with comfortable beds and a excellent kitchen, with everything you require to make a meal. The milk, scones and jam were much appreciated after the drive down to Cornwall. The House keeper, Mandy, is very helpful, and is available for any assistance you require. The off road parking is on a fairly steep incline, although overall I would highly recommend this property.
