    “The property was very clean and had everything we needed.”

    The moment you step through the door everything was perfect. The apartment was very large and the two bathrooms were helpful. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have a large tv. We went to looe and lots of local gardens. Mount Edgcumbe was worth a visit. Brewshea the local restaurant had good food and it was nice to see the local community shop open again. There was also a bus stop nearby too. The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment was clean and tidy and ...

There was also a bus stop nearby too. The kitchen was very well equipped. The apartment was clean and tidy and communication about the key etc was good. I would recommend this property if staying in the area.

Positioned in the beautiful Rame Peninsula and within a five minute stroll of the beach at Downderry, Rock Pool is perfectly placed to explore the stunning coastline and picturesque countryside that surrounds this superb village location.

Perfect for families this village has everything you will need, you won't have to travel far if you choose not to.

Downderry hosts a restaurant, pub, coffee shop, general store and post office all within a short walk, so guests can opt to stock up on provisions to eat in or dine out. Ramblers will enjoy the scenic coastal footpath to charming fishing ports and villages with quaint quays.

Looe is within easy reach and scenic Polperro is an enchanting village with pretty, traffic-free lanes and the harbour edged with traditional inns and fisherman's cottages.

Stroll through the beautiful valley and woodland en-route to Hessenford or explore the expansive shoreline and its fascinating rock pools between Downderry and Seaton.

The Famous Eden Project and the vibrant maritime city of Plymouth are a short drive away with something for everyone whatever the weather.

The apartment is delightful, perfect for couples and families in all seasons.

Accessed by a small flight of external steps, views of the sea glistening through the roof tops and trees can be spied from the private garden which has a lawn and patio ideal for alfresco dining.

Sea views can also be enjoyed from the spacious open-plan living room with large sliding doors opening onto the patio.

The kitchen is equipped with glossy white units and sleek appliances - all you need to rustle up a bite to eat.

The master bedroom boasts a chic en-suite bathroom with overhead shower, and guests in the twin bedroom have the use of a wet room.

DOWNDERRY

Looe 6 miles; Liskeard 10 miles; Polperro 11 miles; Plymouth 18 miles.

Downderry is a small quiet coastal village situated in south east Cornwall. Downderry has a sheltered beach, Post Office and shop, deli, and a cliff top pub and an excellent restaurant, serving quality local food. At low tide it is possible to walk along the beach from Downderry to Seaton, where you will find a family friendly south facing beach and the nearby Seaton Valley Countryside Park and Nature reserve is home to wildlife, including otters and kingfishers and also offers great cycling and walking opportunities. The picturesque working harbours at Looe and Polperro are within an easy driving distance away, and the wonderful stretches of the South West Coast Path in this part of Cornwall take you to rocky coves, dramatic headlands and tales of shipwrecks and smugglers. Further afield is Plymouth, where you will find plenty to see and do, including a marine aquarium, a theatre, large shopping centres and the historic Barbican waterside area.
