Coastal Haven is a fantastic, single-storey holiday cottage nestled in Crackington, Cornwall, just a short drive from the coast.
Boasting spacious living areas, an outdoor games room, and five well-appointed bedrooms, this dog-friendly cottage is perfect for families or friends looking to make the most of the Cornish coast.
Begin your getaway by parking on the drive and stepping into the heart of the home, where a welcoming sitting room furnished with a plush corner sofa and Smart TV greets you.
Unwind here before heading into the fully equipped kitchen, where you can cook up a storm to be enjoyed around the dining table.
If the weather is nice, why not head out to the spacious decking, where you can dine alfresco in the Cornish sun?
After dinner, make the most of Coastal Haven’s outdoor games room, which houses a pool table, table football, and a darts board – perfect for groups that enjoy a bit of friendly competition.
When the evening draws to a close, venture back inside, where you can wash off the day in either the bathroom or shower room before choosing between four bedrooms in the main house: a king-size, a double, a twin, and a double bunk room, ideal for catching up on your sleep.
Find the fifth bedroom in the annexe, where you will find a king-size bed with a bathroom, making it the ideal home for friends and families.
In the morning, head down to Crackington Haven, where you can enjoy the refreshing sea air on Crackington Beach before grabbing a bite to eat at The Coombe Barton Inn.
Keen walkers can hop on the South West Coast Path, which meanders through charming seaside towns and villages, including Boscastle, where you can visit the site of Bottreaux Castle.
Further along, you can explore Tintagel, the legendary home of King Arthur, and the magnificent ruins of Tintagel Castle, which boast breathtaking views across the sea.
Venturing in the opposite direction, you can visit Widemouth Bay Beach and Summerleaze Beach, where you’ll find an array of watersports and Bude Sea Pool for a spot of wild swimming.

Good accommodation for a short break, wouldn’t be great for a longer stay.
One bathroom felt really damp- visible in some parts One bedroom described as a double, strangely in a really big room was a small double at best. Just starting to look tired in places and needing a little TLC, maybe the signs of the end of a busy summer season? Outside needs some love, seating areas and seating need to be cleaned.
We all loved our week staying at Coastal Haven.
The beds were very comfortable and the showers were great. The children enjoyed the games room. We were able to eat together around the dining room table. We liked to walk down to the beach as it was a good start to the day.
We had a fabulous stay.
Everything was as advertised and we had everything we could possibly need (except a bread knife). Everything little detail ensured we had a home away from home. Communication was second to none. Idilyc location to the beach just 4mins by car but also close to bude town centre and all that had to offer Not sure what else I can say other than we would definitely recommend to others and be back ourselves.
