we had a lovely stay at Harvenna Cottage despite the weather, It was very clean and very comfortable everything you could want, in fact we would like to return next year, Louisa was welcoming and had a lovely cream tea waiting for us.

From the beautiful goodie basket to the doorstep chats. And the village shop just across the road is gorgeous and handy. Crackington Haven beach is glorious. Sandymouth and Widemouth beach as well as Bude are within easy distance. Lovely location, wonderful, friendly people. Loved every minute.

Harvenna Cottage was clean, spacious and comfortable.

With welcoming and helpful owners, bus routes outside the door and an excellent and friendly community shop opposite, this house made a great base to explore the area. We were lucky with the weather and managed 4 days of coastal walking as well as exploring Bude. The EV charger was another asset.

The cottage was easy to find & had good off street parking right infront of the front door.

A beautiful place which was immaculately clean & well stocked with everything you need for your stay inc a coffee pod machine. The garden was completely enclosed which was very important for my little escape artist dog. It also had nice garden furniture for the summer days. Louisa was very welcoming when we crossed paths & had left a very welcoming basket full of goodies & a pint of Milk. Which was very kind. Throughly enjoyed my stay.

The accommodation was everything you could want and more. There was a wonderful hamper for us when arrived and fresh flowers too. The cottage was spotless and had everything you needed. Even the weather was kind to us.

It is honestly the nicest place we have stayed, it was immaculate and so many thoughtful touches from dog treats and toys to a wonderful hamper with scones, tea, biscuits and more. The most friendly owner who checked on us when we arrived and let us know to contact her with any problems.. we didn't need to as there weren't any. Absolute perfection!

Great location, lovely walk to the beach.

The cottage had everything you could possibly think of. It was really clean and well kept. The bed was really comfortable and there's a great shower. There's an enclosed courtyard which was good for dogs with table and chairs where we ate all out meals. In a great location for exploring the local are. Would definately re-visit when in the area again,

Obviously a tremendous amount of thought has gone into ensuring the guests have everything they need for their stay, from large screen tv, huge comfy bed, lots of fitted wardrobes (with hangers) very well equipped kitchen and gorgeous large shower to the little touches like fresh flowers, scones, milk, dog toys, maps and suggestions for places to visit, etc., etc. All in all absolutely perfect for us - we would have stayed longer had we been able. Absolutely RECOMMENDED - don't think about it, just book it!!

The best we’ve ever stayed at over the years. There was everything anyone would ever need while away. Like home from home. The owners are lovely and very helpful. An excellent property all round.

It was great to see the progress of the development in a book. Good idea to have a visitors book. Thanks for the leaflets and maps. We had a lovely stay and there are plenty of walks straight from the cottage. We walked to Crackington Haven and had a lovely lunch at the Cabin. Would recommend this property and would be happy to stay there again

A wonderful place to stay.

Well equipped with everything you would want ( BBQ, oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher etc ) The owners were on holiday but their parents were on hand for any problems ( which there wasn't ) and were very friendly and helpful. It is located in a lovely and peaceful place and central to many places of interest. Will definitely go back again and dog friendly, a win, win accommodation.

Harvenna Cottage is a lovely property very comfortable with everything you need and more.

The welcome pack and flowers were a lovely gesture, even the dogs had a treat, The bed and the shower were the best. The cottage is situated close to lots of lovely places.We especially liked Widemouth Bay with its dog friendly beach and cafe .The owners were very friendly without being intrusive. We would definitely recommend Harvenna Cottage .

What a gem of a cottage.

This cottage has everything you want and more. The owners have done a fantastic job of converting this old village shop into this stunning cottage, modern inside, but have kept the character with the old beams. Clean, tidy and spacious, great to come back to after a long day walking. This cottage is in a prime location for the beach and many outstanding walks on your doorstep. Would definitely recommend and stay here again and the dogs loved it. The owners have done a remarkable renovation on this property and as you walk in a wow factor hits you, well done.

Amazing property.

Perfect in every way. We walked in and thought it looks brand new. They have thought of everything even fresh flowers in a vase and a hamper. The quality and beauty of the whole cottage and interior is outstanding. The owners who are delightful live next door are so welcoming and supportive without being invasive. The area is so lovely with so much to do close to the coast and easy access to shops, cafes and bars. Highly recommend.

Harvenna Cottage is outstanding.

Spotlessly clean. Modern fittings. It must be the comfiest bed in the world. Lovely village area but close enough to Bude for beaches and shopping. Within 24 hours of getting home and we have booked to go back there next year.

Just the most perfect cottage we've stayed in, everything you could possibly need, the comfiest bed ever, lovely lounge/kitchen, and sweet courtyard to sit with a coffee and book, and also the best shower.

The cottage is the best we have ever stayed in.

Everything has been catered for and the owners are lovely and welcoming. I can’t fault Harvenna cottage and we will definitely be back. The renovation has been done to an amazingly high standard and very comfortable. From the welcoming cream tea and a box of goodies for the dog, the lovely big comfortable bed and kitchen equipped for your every need, if you are thinking of booking it then do it, you won’t regret it !!!

The laundry room i loved was a god sent as we had very bad rain as we kept all our wet coats boots dog towels and dog coats as the boiler was in the laundry room there dried for next day the cottage was very comfortable deco was lovely Bus stop community shop across rd Walk to the beach lovely took me 30 minutes did it a couple time a day Took a bit longer back steep hill but you can get bus back up Also some leaflets in cottage on walks did a few lovely walks Did a walk to mineshop my favourite In crackington its self the beach was lovely Cafes pub We had a fantastic Christmas holiday Thanks Louise hope to come again

We love Cornwall and Louisa was the perfect host greeting us within a few hours of our arrival.

The cottage is modern and very well finished with everything working. Above all the cottage is comfortable, clean and warm. Hope to visit Harvenna Cottage again in the future as it offers great access to the North Cornwall beaches and the Southwest Coastal Path.

Immaculate inside and out . Comfortable and cosy. Owner welcoming and helpful, but not intrusive. Lovely beach at Bude for the dog to run on(Blackrock). Would certainly recommend this beautiful cottage .

We had a lovely welcome from Louisa the owner which straight away made us feel relaxed and ready to enjoy our holiday.

The cottage was beautifully presented with everything you would need from a well equipped kitchen to a lovely comfy bed. Looking through the photos in the redevelopment from it's past usages to the now lovely cottage, you can see the thought to details and the love and hard work that went into it is an amazing achievement. The welcome hamper and the cream tea was very enjoyable, This has to be one of the best, if not the best holiday cottages we have stayed in over the years and would like to thank Louisa and Stuart for making it a perfect holiday. Immaculate cottage!

We had a lovely week here despite the weather! The beach is a short drive or you can walk but it’s uphill coming back, we did it! Boscatle, Tintagel and Bude are within easy reach by car or bus, stop across the road. The cottage really is a great base to explore Cornwall, we visited so many places! A lovely welcome hamper and fresh flowers were waiting for us upon arrival, owner is lovely and lives next door but isn’t intrusive at all. Really didn’t want to leave, can’t wait to go back!

This is one of the best cottages we have stayed at, the host and family were all very welcoming.

This property is excellent X by 2 nothing seems to be to much trouble for the owners to give you a comfortable stay every conceivable thing required for your stay has been thought of.

It was a very clean and tidy property which had everything we needed.

The welcome basket, dog treats and coffee machine were nice touches. The owner met us there and we felt if we had any issues they would have been quick to respond. There was a little shop nearby for essentials, wood fired pizza on a Wednesday 5-9 get there early as we missed it they had sold out so must have been good. Beach / pub / cafe we’re about a mile away but we had to drive as our dog only has little legs for the hills. Nice and quiet a very relaxing week.

We had a wonderful few days at Havenna Cottage, just wish we had booked it for longer.

The cottage offers a very high standard of accommodation and is a great base for the north coast of Cornwall.

Beautiful cosy cottage.

Everything you could wish for in a holiday home. Lovely enclosed courtyard with patio table and chairs. Great for dogs, no chance of escape`!!! Louisa was welcoming and friendly, but unobtrusive. The village shop stocks a good range of products and the staff are friendly and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves and felt relaxed staying there. Would certainly go back.

I have stayed in many self catering properties in the UK and also abroad and this was probably the best.

The layout of the cottage was very good and everything was of superb quality and very modern. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided. Besides the usual coffee and tea provided there was a most enjoyable hamper. The owner was very welcoming and helpful. I would definite recommend the cottage and Sykes Cottages.

What an absolute treat to stay at such a lovely cottage, the place is spotless, the bed is very comfortable, the lounge has a great TV with an xbox and blue Ray player, could not fault our stay, Louisa and Stuart were great hosts nothing was too much trouble.

Definately worth a second visit.

Everything was immaculate, and the owners had thought of literally everything.. The kitchen had every utensil, pots, pans you could wish for… plus loads of housekeeping supplies. All you need to bring is your food and you’re set… (ps, they even supply a welcome hamper which is a lovely cream tea)

Absolutely amazing cottage, 1st class.

The inside was immaculate and had every thing you needed. The owners were genuine, lovely people, non intrusive but there if you needed them for anything. Lovely walks from the doorstep, the cove is just down the hill with lovely clifftop walks. It has 2 cafes and pub if you wish to drink/eat, watching the waves. Beautiful, stunning and famous places all around to visit. We definitely recommend this cottage and we will book another stay.
