Fizz-Gog Cottage

This cottage was perfect for my wife and myself, our 2 little dogs felt at home and being able to let them out into the secure garden was good also.

The views are amazing and so peaceful, thank you for a wonderful stay.

Cottage was lovely (views to die for) very clean, comfy and all mod cons.

The cottage had everything we needed and was very nice and comfortable. Very nice to find a lovely Cream Tea, Scones, Milk and Eggs in the fridge (We had the cream tea as soon as we arrived, very nice after long journey) The panoramic views are amazing, lovely little area to sit outside and enclosed area of grass if you take dogs. Fizz-Gogg cottage is a great little place to stay as a couple, highly recommend it. Thanks Phil & Carole

What a fabulous property, so comfortable with everything you require.

The views from your property and location are spectacular! Easy access to many walks with outstanding stunning view’s, you literally feel on top of the world. Owner is on hand if required, however totally respects your privacy. The welcome gifts are just so thoughtful, and that includes welcome pack for your pet. Just wow, our new favorite property and honestly can’t wait to return.

Fizz cottage is wonderful ean out of this world views and really lovely people who own it always there if you ever need them but just let you get on with your holiday the views from all the way there was special a great information book and had everything you wanted to make your stay special would highly recommend this property

The garden is wonderful for the dogs. We have already booked to go back next year as we love it so much

Absolutely loved our stay at Fizz-Gogg cottage, it's super clean, so well equipped, cosy, peaceful and a place you look forward to coming back to after a day out.

After lots of thought, the only thing that we could think of to possibly make it even better is some kind of covering over the entrance so you can take your muddy/sandy footwear off, out of any rain, so that you're not dragging dirt into the cottage. We would look to stay here again if coming back to Cornwall, it properly feels like a home .

Lovely cottage in a lovely location.

The cottage was well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras like the binoculars, the flowers, the night lights. We would love to go back and explore more of the countryside, villages and beauty spots. Absolutely super place to stay.

Lovely comfortable cottage with amazing views.

It was great for the dogs to have the freedom of the secure garden and the bonus of the dog exercise field was much appreciated. The cream tea, eggs and milk were most welcome. The perfect place for a relaxing, peaceful break, I am sure we will be back soon

Wonderful place in the heart of Cornwall.

The cottage has everything you need, and a lovely cream tea, milk and eggs to greet you. The dog had a great time as plenty of walks all around and the views are amazing. If you want peace and quiet this is the perfect place.

Super cottage and location.

The most amazing views from the property. Very dog friendly, with a choice of safe areas for our pet to exercise within reach of the property . Also a lovely dog treat bag on arrival. Our only criticism of the contents of the cottage was that the sofa was not very comfortable.

You have to visit to appreciate the cottage and surroundings.

The cottage was very warm & cosy with a beautiful outlook.

The area was very quiet which is just want we needed. A dog field where we could let them off the lead and across the field directly onto the moor. The only reason we didn’t give a 10 was that we found the sofa uncomfortable and mentioned this in the visitors book. Also a suggestion for a clothes airer for all the wet dogs towels. We will hopefully visit again.

The cottage had everything that we wanted, included secure garden for our two dogs, and everything worked as it should. Beautiful cottage would certainly return if we wanted to visit Cornwall again, thank you.

Beautiful cottage.

Quiet and set in beautiful countryside. The cottage had absolutely everything you could imagine you might need! The delicious cream tea left in the fridge was very welcome after the drive. John is a fount of local knowledge and you should try the Tea Rooms at the Minions local store!

Washing machine unecessary for two people for a week.

Facilities to dry wet clothes ( it rains a lot onBodminmoor) and towels e.g. tumble drier or drying rack would be much more useful in limited space We carried towels with us as the advertisement did not say they were provided, when Infact they were. Guests should be aware that wi-fi and TV signals are very poor in this area Instruction books were provided but hidden away under cutlery tray which was not the best place for them!

We‘ve had two wonderful weeks at Fizz Gog Cottage with our two dogs.

Everything was clean and we didn‘t miss anything. In front of our cottage were the sheeps and a lovely view in the valley. We did only have to open a fence to be in the moor, where we could do long walks in a fascinating nature meeting sheeps, cows and horses. It took us about 30 -45 minutes by car either to the north or south coast to be at the sea. Thank you to the owners of the cottage for always being so friendly. We enjoyed our stay at Minions a lot.

The views and location was amazing. The cottage had everything you needed and the owners checked everything was ok during our stay. Our dog even had a welcome bag. We will definitely return.
