“This was mine and my Wife's second visit to Ribby Barn and it will not be our last.”
Upon arriving we met the owner who was doing some work in the garden. She offered any help we may need. Upon arriving we met the owner who was doing some work in the garden. She offered any help we may need. A welcome pack was left, which included milk, tea, coffee, jam, scones, cream, biscuits and a bottle of wine. The barn is so well equipped and so comfortable with a real rustic charm. It was a chilly start to June, but warmed up very quickly after putting the heating on. Really comfortable beds. Digital TV where we were able to sign into different platforms. The phone signal is poor, but could get one if standing outside. Fully equipped kitchen. Perfect WIFI so contact with family via WhatsApp was great. We both love a bath, which the barn has. The surrounding area is beautiful. We took a walk up into the woods and also did the River Walk and, of course, days out. If you're a fan of Indian food, Moonlight Tandoori in Lostwithiel is a must. Basic decor but fabulous food. We were both sad to leave. We felt refreshed and relaxed. Just one pointer, the driveway is not shared, as per description. Very narrow one car track, but turn left into the Barn, no one shares it. Absolutely wonderful stay. Hopefully return very soon.
