Spring Park Farmhouse

Had a wonderful stay here for our daughter's birthday - we didn't want to leave!

The farmhouse was spacious and welcoming (thank you for the wine, biscuits and milk on our arrival) and the property provided everything necessary. Dogs loved exploring the garden and the bunnies!! So peaceful in the hot tub at night listening to the wildlife. Paddy was so friendly and helpful regarding the hot tub and where to visit. We would have no hesitation in recommending the farmhouse.

It's really nice place and service was amazing hot tub children love it it's really very nice thank you

Amazing gem of a property!

!! We were lucky to secure a last minute Easter break. Highly recommend the well equipped, great location, quaint farmhouse. The wood burning hot tub was a bonus!

Lovely spacious accommodation great for a family get together and with plenty of bathrooms!

Had a great time in the wood fired hot tub star gazing and listening to the wildlife. Comfortable and clean with a nice atmosphere in a quiet location. Kitchen could do with some sharp knives and a few “cooks” things if you’re catering for a few people. We had a really nice time here and really felt away from it all

Such a beautiful, well maintained and serviced property.

Nothing too much trouble for Paddy & Kitty (thank you for making our stay memorable). Comfortably suited for couples and families. Lovely position away from noise. Ideal if you truly want a rural experience.

Very nice to deal with had a lovely house no problems will use again Very Happy thank you

The farmhouse was lovely and spacious set in peaceful surroundings, the hot tub was great for the family.

We enjoyed watching the bunnies running around. Great location shops a few minutes drive away. The owners were very pleasant and helpful. Would return for another great holiday.

The Farmhouse was a lovely , well equipped house in a quiet secluded one but within driving distance of many local beaches etc.

Our grandchildren were very excited to spot wild rabbits every morning. The farmhouse was spacious and decorated in a cottage style. We loved the log fired hot tub which was simple to use be very efficient. The owners checked in on us to make sure we were ok and if we needed anything. They were quick to respond if we needed anything { an airer for drying clothes}. The cream tea, butter and bottle of wine was a lovely surprise and very welcome. Our only comment would be that we struggled to dry towels and baby clothes even though the house contained washer dryer and feel the house would benefit from a separate tumble dryer - however this do not stop us from having a great holiday. A fabulous place!

We spent a lovely week at Spring Park Cottage.

Lovely farm house with great facilities. The central location meant we could easily get to the north and south coast and the owner was helpful suggesting various car parks to use for our beach day. We would love to return this was a super find.

What a beautiful property set in gorgeous countryside.

Hot tub was great. Beds were very comfy. The cream tea that welcomed us was a lovely surprise. The 500 piece jigsaw was a killer, and it took 3 of us most of the week to do it. We will definitely be back again.

The property is in a great setting and we found it really comfortable, it was great to come home to after a day out.

We loved the quirkiness and individuality of the decor. It was lovely to be welcomed with some treats, which went down really well thanks, and milk and butter in the fridge too. The hot tub is a welcome addition and there were plenty of logs provided to keep it toasty. Paddy was around and about daily and was very accommodating. As a family of four generations of adults we all enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space to do our own thing. We would highly recommend Spring Park

Directions to get to the Farmhouse were not very helpful.

Once you get off the main road it was difficult to find. Paddy, the owner was very friendly and helpful and lit the hot tub for us. Grounds are lovely, very peaceful and quiet.

The Farmhouse was warm, comfy and spacious for our half term break.

We loved star gazing in the woodfired hot tub and waking to birdsong!

A fantastic property with great space downstairs to socialise as well as four lovely bedrooms.

Very clean and great facilities too. Lovely location and great hosts.

The House is so quaint, it’s a hidden gem!

The owners are lovely and helpful, advise on places to visit, places to eat. A really great place to chill and get away from life.

We wanted to stay in Cornwall, within reasonable distance of the attractions.

We picked Spring Park, it allowed us to stay as 2 families, 1 assistance dog our 2 dogs. 10 in total with plenty of space and comfort for all. A lovely get you in pack was provided which was a lovely touch, along with items provided for the dogs. Outside was a hot tub, made good use of by the grandchildren and lovely little walks for the dogs along with a fairly large green space to play/train the dogs. We enjoyed a fantastic week at spring park, the owner was often around to ensure we had everything we needed. I would whole heartedly recommend spring park as a family and dog friendly experience. Thank you.

We had an amazing stay.

Paddy and kitty were attentive hosts. The house itself is lovely and has a really homely feel. It is well equipped and located in a secluded spot Which suited us perfectly. The hot tub was lovely And we had everything we needed to have an enjoyable stay. We would definitely go back.

Amazing location and accommodation.

The owners were delightful and catered for every eventuality. The hot tub was a bonus . We felt very much at home and able to relax after days out discovering Cornwall.

Lovely stay, hosts where welcoming and on hand if needed.

The farm house is everything you expect a great getaway for three generations to spend some quality time together! Thank you. We will be back! X

Well what a wonderful place.

So quirky but with all of the home comforts, hot tub a bonus even in December as we came for Christmas it was decorated really beautifully. It seemed like a retreat as no noise and light pollution lots of lovely trees. One tip as a previous person said or sat nav to pub springer spaniel as then only a mile away as the other way is long narrow lanes. The hosts were very helpful and left great welcome gifts .

Excellent.

One small point a handrail on the stairs who help those not so good on their feet like myself. Dog friendly, plenty of exercise space and walks for dogs. The dog did not want to go home.

Spring Park Farmhouse House was bigger than we thought which made it very comfortable for our 2 families Very peaceful and hot tub was great especially when the sky was clear in the evening as the sky is full of stars as there isn’t any light pollution Plenty of logs provided Thankyou Kitchen very well equipped Flowers wine scones cream and jam from owners on arrival again Thankyou Would highly recommend this farmhouse We have already booked to return next April as we all plus the dog had a great holiday Thankyou again Lyn S

Hosts Paddy and Kitty are super friendly and helpful, whilst not being intrusive.

Holiday cottage was fabulous! Great location - very peaceful even though there are a few other properties on site. This was a great base for exploring Cornwall. Welcome pack was much appreciated after a long journey. We loved it so much that we will be returning at some point. Fabulous!

The farmhouse was wonderful and more than we hoped for.

It was well stocked with all creature comforts. The welcome basket was a great surprise and the owners friendly and approachable. The supply of the dog bowl, with a welcome card was a lovely touch. We are more used to a list of do's and don'ts when it comes to a dog, so this was appreciated

We loved the farmhouse itself however it did not state that the property was part of a much wider holiday complex in the description.

Had we known this we would of preferred to book elsewhere as we do not enjoy multiple holiday accommodation complexes.

The farmhouse was very well equipped, clean and very comfortable.

It is perfect for families. Having a large barbecue and fantastic hot tub and a large grassy area. The owners left a lovely welcome pack and nothing was too much trouble for them . We could highly recommend it.

The house was amazing, we loved all the quirky bits everywhere and everywhere we looked there was something else to see.

The hot tub and outside areas were amazing with plenty of private apace.

Wow this is our 3rd sykes cottages holiday and this one was the best yet ,amazing location and beautiful farmhouse paddy and kitty have worked so hard to make spring park a great place to stay, paddy showed us round the other cabins and it was amazing to see the work gone into this lovely park,The hot tubs are nice being log burner style has a nice outdoors feel to your holiday kept ours burning for lots of hot tub evenings under the stars, for the dogs there's lots of walks in the woods down to the river a real bonus, our holiday was a much needed break from the daily long hours at work and this really did the trick instant silence in the farmhouse location which meant relaxing was easy, and exploring Cornwall north and south easy access to both,Thank you to all staff running spring park and special thanks to paddy and kitty your park is beautiful.

From Kim ,Dawn,Chelsea, Madison, kai, and ollie and merlin the dogs

Great location, large and comfy bedrooms and beds, great shower facilities, hot tub a real bonus.

Kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was fantastic thank you. Shame we couldn’t see the stunning views the other side of the road from the house, but garden area great for kids. The photos on the website showed different furniture layout but still enough comfy seats for all. One issue we did have is lack of hanging space for clothes and shortage of mirrors in the bedrooms. The one in the green bathroom is hung so high I couldn’t see in it as I am only 5’ 1”. I think the details should mention the current building work next door, even though really nice and quiet workmen. Also the fact the cleaners room is attached to the property, with cars and staff pulling onto the drive early each morning and putting on washing machines. Led to some minor invasion of privacy, and would have liked some prior warning. However, none of the above would prevent us returning or recommending to others as we had a wonderful week, the owners are lovely and helpful and the house is our favourite of all we have stayed in over the years.

There’s so much I could say about the Farmhouse!

I’ll start with the space - I was blown away with the size of the property and the space we had outside - it far surpassed my expectations. We had our dog with us who loved the garden space to be able to run around and after the first couple of days had gained confidence to go for a wander on her own! Very peaceful and private and very rural! Fixtures and fittings in the property were of a high standard and loved the coffee machine which has resulted in me ordering the same model for our home! Welcome pack was excellent and very much appreciated - best I’ve ever had from a cottages stay in the UK. Wood fired hot tub was also brilliant and with plenty of wood to keep the temperature where you want it - ticked the box for the pyromaniac in me! Gas fired BBQ was also used by us a number of times during our stay which was a great addition. Hosts (Kitty and Paddy) were very welcoming and great hosts. Only advice I’d give is if planning a trip south from Rezare, do not turn directly left from the Farmhouse entrance as the lanes in that direction seem endless and narrow - if you’re not confident driving in lanes, head right and join the main road by the Springer Spaniel pub. Watch out for the horse flies just after any rain - they are very bitey!

The farmhouse was amazing, we needed a large property to accommodate two families but also to host an 80th birthday celebration.

Paddy & Kitty were so helpful with all of our enquiries throughout our stay. The downstairs is enormous and perfect for what we needed and everybody loved the giant hot tub! The location is also fantastic, it’s so remote and peaceful but centralised to everything Cornwall has to offer.

We had a fabulous time in the farmhouse, hot tub was gorgeous, stars amazing as no light pollution.

Paddy was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble. The welcome pack was fantastic. Thank you for a perfect stay

We have a fab weekend, the house was amazing.

Thanks very much.

Absolutely enjoyed our week in this beautiful farmhouse.

It had everything we needed for our week away. There was plenty of room for our party of 6 adults and a dog. We had lots of use out of the hot tub. We found the location ideal for Dartmoor, Bodmin, Port Isaac, Tintagal, Lydford gorge and a favourite of ours Meldon Viaduct and reservoir. Would definitely love to go back to this farmhouse and would have no hesitation in recommending it to family/friends. Thank you so much Kittie and Paddy

Our stay at Spring Park Farmhouse was absolutely perfect.

I honestly cannot think of anything negative to say about it - apart from the rain - but it made no difference. We even enjoyed the hot tub in the rain! Paddy and Kitty could not have been more helpful and were very accommodating when we had a very special day there with family. The situation is ideal for staying in the quiet countryside or using as a base and exploring the area. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Perfect holiday - lovely property - very well provided & equipped - everything we needed.

Owners were lovely - very generous - nothing was too much trouble. Thank you

We have Just got back from a lovely stay at the Farmhouse , it was clean , well equipped , fantastic garden our children loved watching the bunnies on the garden in the evening , the hot tub was definitely a winner very easy to use our little boy loved it , paddy and Kitty the owners were lovely very welcoming and helpful thank you so much for a lovely stay .

We have just returned yesterday from an absolutely amazing week at spring park farmhouse.

Home from home in every sense of the word with everything you could ever need for a comfortable stay in extremely peaceful surroundings. The welcome hamper was very generous scones jam clotted cream milk butter coffee etc and fresh flowers too. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get away from it all.

Lovely clean, tidy & well equipped cottage.

We appreciated the plentiful welcome pack & fresh flowers on arrival. Hot tub great fun, easy to use & all wood supplied for duration of stay. Great holiday, thank you!

We had a two week stay at The Farmhouse in Spring Park and it was absolutely amazing- cannot recommend highly enough.

House was immaculately clean and decor was beautiful throughout. Really felt like home from home with all the thoughtful touches (coffee machine etc). We loved the wood fired hot tub and outdoor patio- a real sun trap and enjoyed many an afternoon wine outside. We were a large family staying and really appreciated the large dining area and lounge, big bedrooms and multiple bathrooms (4 toilets!!!). A perfect holiday and loved the area- we can’t wait to return!

This was a lovely house in the country.

Great country walks. Great hot tub. Property had everything you might need apart from a small mirror in small bedroom and a shortage of hanging space in two small bedrooms. However we were provided with lots of little extras such as toilet rolls, washing up liquid etc and lovely scones and clotted cream, wine, flowers, milk, butter. Overall a great holiday.

Garden not enclosed or secure for dogs.

House very shabby and quite grubby. Hot tub and patio area lovely apart from filter and cover on hot tub broken and were supposed to be getting fixed during our stay but never happened and garden umbrella broken too and bushes need cut back to allow sun on patio.

Lovely house.

Very homely. Everything worked as it should. Kitty and Paddy left a lovely welcome pack, even treats for our dog.

Wonderful property.

Well equipped, comfortable and wi dergully located surrounded by beautiful countryside. Hot tub was a bonus treat once we worked out to keep the fire going. Friendly helpful owners were around but not at all intrusive. Would visit again and stay longer. A beautiful property.

We have just returned from a week at Spring Park Farmhouse.

We had a fantastic week and couldn’t have asked for more. The house was incredibly clean and well equipped and the welcome pack was really lovely. The wood fired hot tub was a welcome addition following our long dog walks. The owners were friendly and on hand if we needed them but they ensured we had space and privacy. The location is good and close to local amenities and an excellent pub just within walking distance.

Lovely property with excellent owners who kept in regular contact, plus their dogs on site are so beautiful!

Highly recommended.

We were completely blown away by this property it exceeded our expectations.

Everyone we met including the adorable Newfoundland’s were really welcoming and friendly.

Such an amazing place!

Paddy and Kitty were excellent hosts. Arrived to a lovely hamper of local produce and a homemade cake which was absolutely delicious. Setting was incredible; beautiful, peaceful and private. Also, the puppy cuddles from Jess and Peg were awesome! Out stay at Spring Park was everything we needed, imagined and so much more. Thank you!

Great place with plenty of space for our party of 6.

Hot tub lots of fun. Jigsaw a real challenge but we cracked it! Welcome pack particularly generous and very tasty. Happy to recommend.

We have had a wonderful week the farmhouse was beautiful and a great base to explore cornwall , didnt want to leave !

The farm house was located on a small park which just had the lovely vibe and felt like a little piece of Utopia, which was all thanks to the laid back and friendly approach of the owners - the hot tub was amazing and was lite and ready to go when we arrived.

We had also been left some goodies and lots of cleaning goods- the farm house felt much larger than it looked online and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything you would need - had a fabulous gas BBQ so did this most nights - most of all the dog loved his holiday.

Had a brilliant time.

House was fantastic and really enjoyed the wood fired hot tub. And nothing was to much trouble for paddy and kitty and there crew. Thoroughly recommend.

The warm welcome from the owners, the thoughtful extras such as milk, coffee, clotted cream, wine & the most delicious chocolate cake, the wood+fired hot tub & the peaceful area made this one of our most relaxing & enjoyable holidays.

Thank you Paddy & Kitty.

Absolutely perfect property location and owners.

Could not have wished for better! Only problem is it’s now my wife wants a hot tub like the farmhouse one

Lovely house, welcome pack of scones, cream, jam, wine etc which was a really nice touch.

Helpful friendly owners nearby if we needed anything

Only one one bedroom out of four had wardrobe so very lacking on hanging space, superb outdoor areas but again lacking on garden furniture.

On the plus side kitchen equipment and storage was excellent.Di, Peter, Kitty and Paddy so friendly and helpful, we were party of 6, 2 over 70, 2 x 50 year olds, a 17 and 20 year old and one dog, none of us wanted to return home. Thankyou for the welcoming freshly picked flowers from the gardens they were a lovely touch, not to mention the cream tea.A fun filled, relaxing holiday at Spring Park Farmhouse.Highly recommended.

Spring Park farmhouse is a wonderful place to stay - it has everything we needed for a break and the location is perfect for woodland walks and a great base to get around Cornwall.

Paddy and Kitty are the perfect hosts and there if you need them but not intrusive. The hot tub was a welcome addition and we wouldn’t hesitate to go back! Fabulous holiday enjoyed by the whole family.

The house was in a great position for exploring Cornwall, Devon and Dorset coasts which gave us endless options for visits out.

The house itself was in a lovely quiet area - easy walk to the pub. The hot tub and garden were good places to relax. It was close to shops and we were able to have groceries delivered. The owners were helpful and pleasant. We would happily use this property again.

It is a lovely house in a beautiful area, hot tub is great and owners are very helpful.

Fabulous location for our family get together.

The house was lovely and in an excellent location.

We met the owners who fixed a leaking tap immediately and were pleasant, very helpful and full of useful local knowledge. It's a beautiful part of the country, well worth a visit and this is a good base to travel from or just to sit in the garden, lay back and watch the rabbits.

The farmhouse is perfect, and Kitty and Paddy are brilliant, but very relaxed hosts.

I actualy managed to unwind completely, and my family thoroughly enjoyed their stay.

Cottage was lovely.

Paddy and Kitty were helpful and on hand if needed, left lovely little touches like milk, eggs and butter. Lovely place and would go again

The owners Paddy and Kitty were friendly and approachable.

They left for us Cornish butter and cream, and homemade blackberry & apple jam and a green & blacks chocolate cake, again homemade by Kitty, which was very tasty! The beds were comfy, there was lots of room, it was quiet, and there was an abundance of wildlife with, among others, black rabbits spotted in the garden, a roe deer in the driveway, a skylark singing in the sky and wrens nesting under the eaves above the patio doors. The local pub, the Springer Spaniel, was quite small but served some lovely food. The cottage is ideal for visiting Launceston/Tavistock/west Dartmoor, but it is a bit of a drive to get to destinations like Padstow and the Eden Project. All in all a very enjoyable holiday.

Paddy & Kit who own the cottage exceeded our expectations of the cottage.

It has been beautifully furnished, cosy and clean, it is very quirky, just what we like. They left us a homemade cake, fizz, butter and milk. They were there if we needed them but were not intrusive. One thing, I would say to Sykes is that better directions in your reminder? We arrived in the dark, SAT Nav took us to centre of village and luckily we met someone who knew where it was. We would have found it but at night it's a little harder.
