Skylark’s is an absolutely stunning cottage, tucked away in the countryside with stunning views but still close to Looe and surrounding beaches and villages.

From arriving at Skylarks and being met by the owner we knew we had made a perfect choice. The cottage was amazingly clean and had all the home comforts needed plus a fabulous hot tub. Every little extra had been thought about and a lovely welcome basket of treats was waiting for us as well as treats for the dog too. We had a lovely week making memories and would return in a heartbeat. We couldn’t have asked for more and knew the owners were on hand if needed. We will definitely return in future - Cornwall is a very special place and this cottage made it every more so - thank you Skylarks

First impressions was good, and Janice the owner is such a lovely lady.

The hot tub was amazing, the garden was ok and accessible for the dog, but the courtyard isnt, as its big pebbles on ground so not dog friendly or people with mobility issues. Its a shame the grass was cut and cuttings left during our stay, as we then couldnt use the garden either, the dog was covered. The house itself could be more comfortable. In my opinion the sofas need upgrading and the double beds are quite hard, which of course would suit some people. Pillows are very comfy. The kitchen is good. Everything you could want, except a pair of scissors. Janice has thought of everything. Lovely hamper on arrival and everything from hand washes, to bobbins for your hair and not to forget the lovely dressing gowns. The house is also nice and warm. Showers are fab with good quality towels. Great size smart tv and several games available. The house is quite remote and a bit hard to find, so follow the directions from owners.

The house we had was perfect not very good for getting to shops and supermarkets, Looe is rubbish for parking and getting about with traffic and tiny roads.

On a hole we had a terrible holiday because we had our car wrote off 3 days in and we were then stuck in the cottage with no vehicle of food for 2 days then when we got the hire car we left a day early so I actually had a rubbish experience so apologies for not very positive feedback because we had a nightmare.
