The apartment is equipped with everything you need and having a washing machine has meant no holiday clothes to wash once home. Rob, the owner who lives on site, was extremely welcoming but once we were settled in we hardly saw him. Charlie the dog is amazing and does like to see who is staying in his garden but again he is not intrusive and he’s not allowed in apartment. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Very conveniently located on the west bank of the Tamar with easy access to the Tamar Bridge. Great spot for visiting Plymouth, west Devon, east Cornwall and beyond. Rob was a very friendly and helpful host. Highly recommended.

So clean & comfortable & included everything for a really relaxing stay. Wonderful view from the garden. A great place for a holiday, well placed for getting around Cornwall & Devon. The owner Rob was very welcoming & friendly & was available for any problems.

Got a good welcome from Rob the owner as we arrived, can't fault the flat there was everything you needed lovely comfy bed ,a garden and a lovely view over the tamar river.

Biscuits and tea were a nice touch and meeting Charlie the dog.

This accommodation was of a very high standard and had been carefully designed to meet every need and provide extra touches which made us feel very welcome.

Rob was a great host who also made us feel very welcome . The property has amazing views onto the Tamar estuary and is well located for visiting the delights of South East Cornwall. We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay and would happily stay at 1 Brunel View again.

Well presented and spotlessly clean. Great views across the estuary from the lounge and patio area. Town and train station within a 10-15 minute walk. Would highly recommend.

We really liked this property, it’s high spec, immaculate condition and has its own independent heating system so you can have it however warm you like.

It’s got beautiful views. The owner is very helpful if there’s anything you need. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second Sykes property this year that my wife and I would rate as excellent.

The property is very well presented, spotlessly clean and has everything we needed. We expected some noise from the Tamar Bridge which, although out of view is not that far away but we couldn't hear anything at all. The property has a wonderful view of the river Tamar from the living area and from the patio and garden. We were welcomed by the owner, Rob, who lives on site. Rob was friendly and helpful and was always available if we needed anything. A great stay.

An absolutely delightful apartment, located at the owners home.

The property is immaculately maintained and very clean. Rob the owner was at home when we arrived and we both commented on his warm and welcoming manner. The apartment has a delightful sitting room with a comfy sofa and armchair and views directly over the river tamar. The kitchen is well equipped with everything for cooking a full meal. We had breakfast in the apartment, but ate out at lunchtime having a lighter meal in the evening. The towels are provided and are of good quality, there is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer to wash and dry towels, or your own clothes. The bathroom has a decent shower, handbasin and macerater toilet. The bedroom was well presented with a king size bed, large wardrobe and lots of drawer space. The bedding was all hypoallergenic and good quality Egyptian cotton. There were pillow protectors and a mattress protector. The Hypnos mattress is a high end quality mattress, and obviously well used. The only thing I didn’t like is the bed faces the door, Google feng shui, why shouldn’t a bed face the door? There is a lovely terrace for alfresco dining, or sipping a glass of wine while the sun sets. Rob the owner does have a lovely Dalmatian called Charlie, who loves an apple. The dog isn’t allowed in the apartment and strangely stands outside wagging his tail. I think we only see Charlie because we love animals, but Rob has him well trained and he does exactly as he is asked. All in all an amazing apartment in a beautiful spot by the river tamar highly recommend this beautiful location and delightful apartment.

Equipped with everything you could need. Very clean, bed very comfortable& a great shower Quite steep steps down to apartment but this is noted in description so didn't come as a surprise Rob was a great host. Even though he lives on site he was unobtrusive, but on hand when we had an issue with TV - sorted in a timely fashion We would definitely recommend this place and would book again if we revisited area

Apartment is spotless, comfortable and very well thought out with good amenities. Great view over the river Tamar. Plenty to do in the wider area, also busses and ferry to help get around.
