    “We (and the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Polly's Bower.”

    The welcome hamper was very thoughtful, and having dog bowls, towels, and the outside dog poo bin was very helpful. It was very reassuring to stay somewhere that you can open the door, let the dog out and they can roam the garden freely without worrying about their escape. The accommodation itself was lovely and cosy. We were very lucky with the weather (especially for late October) and were able to have the doors open late afternoon watching the sun set over the hills. Plenty of dog walking ...

We were very lucky with the weather (especially for late October) and were able to have the doors open late afternoon watching the sun set over the hills. Plenty of dog walking around in the local areas which were suggested by the walking recommendation folder. The bath was a very generous size, especially for a generous sized lady, and ideal if you're not keen on a shower cubicle. There is a small fridge with a freezer compartment so we ate in most evenings. However we visited the Bullers Arms in Landrake and the meal was exceptional. Especially the chips! We will absolutely be returning in the future.
