Sunset Sea View Chalet
Description
Settled on the award-winning Whitsand Bay Fort Holiday Park on the outskirts of Millbrook, Cornwall, is this historic 1940’s holiday cottage, The Radar Station.
Enjoying a superb location at the highest point of the Rame Peninsula between two Victorian gun emplacements, and exceptional far-reaching views across the bay visible from every window, The Radar Station is a fantastic choice for couples, friends and families.
Upon arrival, you will discover off-road parking spaces and a lovely wraparound terrace, complete with furniture for alfresco dining, perfect for relaxing soaks with a view!
Step inside to discover a well-equipped galley kitchen for rustling up your best dishes, ready to enjoy over a bottle of wine or two at the dining table.
If you don’t fancy cooking, why not take advantage of the Whitsand Bay Fort Bar & Restaurant, where everything will be taken care of for you!
After dinner, kick-back and relax on the sumptuous sofas and watch your favourite film on the TV.
Continue through to find a stylish shower room, where you can wash away the day’s adventures, along with three tastefully decorated bedrooms, a double, a twin and a single.
In the morning, wake-up and enjoy breakfast or a sweet treat at the on-site café, followed by a dip in the heated indoor pool.
If you can tear yourself away, head into Millbrook, where you can stock up on essentials at the convenience store, dine at the Devon & Cornwall Inn, enjoy a walk around Millbrook Dam, or test out your racket on the Millbrook Tennis Courts.
For a day at the beach, head to the gorgeous Whitsand Bay, where you can beachcombe the shores, swim and try your hand at surfing.
Your new holiday cottage further benefits from being set on the South West Coast Path where you can embark on scenic hikes and bike rides.
Next stop is Cremyll, where you can visit the imposing Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, or catch a ferry over to Plymouth, where you will find Royal William Yard, the Theatre Royal, National Marine Aquarium and three Michelin Star restaurants.
Adventure awaits at The Radar Station.

What guests are saying
Fantastic views n area absolutely stunning but lack of WiFi
Great sea views, historic location surrounded by countryside yet with a frequent bus service to save your legs getting back after going for long walks.
Staff are friendly and helpful, property ni e and warm.
No matter where you stay you can always find faults It’s clean tidy not top quality items but I expect ruined by some and easy to replace Quality views and staff are really friendly and help Hot tub is lovely BUT turn it off by safety switch on right of tub at end or you have a loud humming all night you won’t sleep Another tip there is a switch with 3 marks this is the switch to change bubbles to each side or all jets (right middle as you look at tub) never used one before took ages to figure it lol You will hear the wind on a windy night but look where your staying high on cliffs very exposed best view on site You also will get wood lice due to where it is long handled brush to remove them easy - if you can’t pick em up Steep rocky walks to beach ensure check tides as sea comes right up to edge Good long walks around Enjoy
