“Good base for visiting North Cornwall.”

Good views from the property. Modern comfortable bedroom and excellent shower. Lounge/Kitchen needs some TLC and updating and the kitchen layout is not ideal. All the equipment you need but the electric kettle on the sink draining board is dangerous. As pets are allowed there was aways a smell of dogs during our stay.

The property

Resting in the small hamlet of Marshgate, close to the rugged North Cornish coast is Little Lanes, a comfortable single storey annexe, attached to the same owners larger property Underlanes (1026664) with a connecting lockable door which when booked together can sleep 6/7.

Bright and airy, there are lovely countryside views from the open-plan living area where you can curl up and unwind into the evening.

There's a dining area for indulging in a deliciously prepared home-cooked meal, whilst the kitchen itself has been equipped with all the necessary appliances you'll need during your stay.

Once the evening draws to a close, retire to the double bedroom where you can get some much needed rest for the days ahead.

You'll wake to long rural views of the valley beyond, why not sit and simply enjoy the outstanding countryside with a coffee before heading out?

To the front of you is a large lawn shared with neighbouring property Underlanes (1026664) and a small private patio where you can simply enjoy the afternoon sun.

The pretty harbour village of Boscastle with its witchcraft museum is a must see as is the seaside village of Tintagel, said to have been the birthplace of the legendary King Arthur, with Merlin's Cave resting below the clifftop.

The South West Coast Path offers some of the best walking in the region and gives access to some magnificent coastal views.

Little Lanes is an ideal base for those seeking to explore this historic coastline of Cornwall.

About the location

BOSCASTLE

Tintagel 4 miles; Camelford 6 miles.

A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britain’s most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Maurier’s Jamaica Inn.

Suitable for 2 adults and child up to 12 years of age.
