This property has a woodburning stove set in a stunning original inglenook fireplace and is close to several amenities, as well as the beach, making it a great place to stay for a group holiday.

Sit down on either the sofa or the armchair as you find the perfect spot to unwind, either select a movie of your choice on the Smart TV or play a board game tucked away in the coffee table — perfect for relaxed evenings in.

Cook up a treat using the electric oven and hobs.

Sit at the breakfast bar or bring everyone together around the dining table to share some laughs as you eat.

Once the food has settled and the night sky is out, go up the narrow spiral staircase, indulge in a soak in the bath or a shower before retiring to either the king sized bedroom or the twin bedroom.

In St Agnes, Knockers Retreat is just a 30-second stroll from a Spar shop, newsagents, chemist as well as the brilliant Cornish Pizza Company, the friendly Railway Inn pub, alternatively there are independent shops, bakeries, and coffee spots, such as the Cornish Farm Shop, Martina’s Bakery, The bearded Brewery and Rooted restaurant.

Choose between three beautiful beaches: Trevaunance Cove, Trevellas, and Chapel Porth or explore the renowned Coastal paths with breathtaking views, you can walk the scenic 4.5-mile trail along the South West Coast Path to Perranporth, enjoy lunch on the beach, and hop on the local bus back to the village (approx. 10 minutes).

Slightly further afield is Newquay for a great day at the Newquay Zoo or the Blue Reef Aquarium.
