Why a Dobwalls holiday lodge?

Enjoy a host of outdoor pursuits in some beautiful locations. Bodmin Moor provides a number of walking and cycling routes of varying lengths and difficulty. Siblyback Lake is perfect for walks with families and dogs and the 3.2 mile circular path stretches around the lake.

Take a trip to Carnglaze Caverns, three man-made caverns with a varied history. In the Second World War they were used by the Royal Navy to store rum and more recently they have been used to host concerts by the likes of Fairport Convention and British Sea Power. 

Dobwalls is also home to the Ancient Egyptian Centre, which houses a private collection of Egyptian treasures and mummified remains. 

Places to visit near Dobwalls

Just 3 miles away is the market town of Liskeard, a great place to pick up some local Cornish produce. The coastal towns of Fowey, with its idyllic cottages and natural harbour, Polperro, a quaint village with sandy beaches and Looe, a busy port that prides itself on its fresh fish, are all located a short drive away to the south.
