There aren’t too many golf courses in Cornwall, but the ones that are there are well worth visiting. Cornish golf courses are certainly some of the most scenic in the UK, whether links or parkland.
Home to England’s most southerly course, and one of the most popular courses in the UK, Cornwall makes an excellent destination for a golfing break.

Established within the parks of a one-time eminent Cornish family in 1922 is Tehidy Park Golf Club.
This scenic Cornish golf course lies not far from the coast outside of Camborne, closer to Portreath.
This Cornwall golf club welcomes golfers at all levels of skill and experience, and even offers training for juniors (under 16s).

This beautiful parkland course has a mixture of open holes and tree-lined fairways. There are 9 holes where out of bounds comes into play. The course is a good but fair test for golfers of all abilities.

This golf course in Cornwall sits in the beautiful countryside surrounding St Austell bay.
With history dating back to 1911, St Austell Golf Club isn’t the only long-standing establishment in the area.
St Austell Brewery has been in action for over 160 years and offers one of the best brewery tours in Cornwall. The perfect activity after a morning round of golf!

The course stretches across 6,042 yards and was the venue for the 2011 Cornwall County Championships. There are natural and man-made hazards to tackle throughout the undulating parkland. It’s a good challenge for both beginners and low handicappers alike.
Catering for golfers of all abilities, you can head to the floodlit driving range, Trackman teaching studio and get club fittings.
St Enodoc is probably the best known golf course in Cornwall, thanks to its stunning reputation and beautiful links.
This popular Cornish golf course overlooks the Camel Estuary in Rock, just across the water from Padstow.
It’s a great destination for cycling in Cornwall too as the Camel Trail, a disused railway and traffic-free cycle path, runs from Padstow to Wenfordbridge.
Founded in 1890, St Enodoc Golf Club actually has two excellent courses to choose from.

The Church course is one of the most varied and unique golf courses in Cornwall and the UK. If you want to experience the best of the best, then you must pay this legendary course a visit.
This James Braid links course is rather hilly, and sits beside towering sand dunes. You’ll need a hefty dose of courage and accuracy to score well on this course, paired with a lot of concentration. Expect undulating terrain and tight fairways.

This Cornish golf course is ideal for younger players just starting out, or those seeking a relaxing round without any strenuous climbs. It was named Holywell because of the ‘holy well’ to the left of the 12th hole, said to have been where St Enodoc baptised his converts.
Some of the original holes were James Braid’s design, but the course has been extended over the years by Weller Designs and Peter McEvoy.
The golf club offers caddie services to visitors when booked in advance and buggies can also be hired from the club house. The clubhouse itself features a wonderful bar and lounge area as well as an elegant dining room.
Founded in 1895, the Mullion Golf Club has the honour of being Britain’s most southernly golf club. Lying just outside the village of Mullion, Mullion Golf Club is a links course near Gunwalloe Church Cove Beach.

Perched atop the cliffs, this 6,053 yard Cornish golf course offers some spectacular views of Mounts Bay. On a clear day you can even spot St Michael’s Mount in Marazion! Although there’s plenty of scenery to look at, it doesn’t distract from the excellent holes. Described as one of the most unorthodox and sporting clubs, Mullion is rarely closed through bad weather. The greens are kept in perfect nick by Gordon, the head greenkeeper for many years.
The course is accessible to all skill ranges, beginners and long time golfers alike. Although the winds of the Lizard Peninsula can make teeing off that little bit more difficult at times.
The club’s welcoming and friendly clubhouse is open from 8 a.m. everyday and plays host to a bar and restaurant. Buggies are available to hire at the clubhouse and there are a number of open competitions throughout the year.
Ivyleaf Golf Course sits between Bude and Kilkhamptom, just off the A39. This short but sweet course boasts the finest views of any 9-hole golf course in Cornwall. Attracting a mixed crowd of holidaymakers, beginners and regulars alike.

Holes: 9 | Par: 32 | Type: Parkland
This lovely course is set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on a hilltop, affording incredible views of north Cornwall’s coast. You can see from Trevose Head down to Bude, and then inland to both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. The whole 2,300 yard course can be played in under 1.5 hours, so it’s a perfect relaxing round for brushing up on your game.
Ivyleaf Golf Cub also has a 7-Bay floodlit, undercover driving range, which also enjoys fantastic views and is very popular in wet or dry weather.
