From leisure activities around the river, to bird watching and coastal walking, there is lots to do south of the Helford River. For the more active adventurer, the river provides an excellent base for water sports including sailing, kayaking and snorkelling within sheltered areas. If you’re after something a little more leisurely, enjoy the breath-taking views from the South West Coast Path or explore Glendurgan Gardens; home to many sub-tropical and exotic plants.
Take the short ferry journey from Helford Passage to Helford, a quaint village with pretty, waterside properties and cosy hamlets.
