Located 2 miles from St Austell, Carlyon Bay sits on the south coast of Cornwall. The area used to be a mining site and the three beaches that now exist have been largely formed in the last century as a result of mining operations.

The South West Coast Path runs along the cliff tops providing amazing views of Carlyon Bay and St Austell Bay. If you like golf then there is a spectacular par 72 golf course in the area, with many of the holes running parallel with the cliffside, providing breathtaking scenery to enjoy.
