The property

Home-from-home Mulberry Cottage sits within the Village of Gardens at Pendra Loweth, near Falmouth.

Set in attractive grounds displaying flora and woodlands of oak trees, the Village of Gardens offers a prime position close to Falmouth's beautiful beaches and resort attractions, perfect for a family getaway.

Comfortably furnished throughout, the ground floor of this accommodation comprises a well equipped kitchen, convenient cloakroom/WC, dining area and a spacious open plan living room.

Rear French doors lead to the large communal garden, a great space for children to play whilst parents watch and relax on the private patio, equipped with garden furniture.

The first floor boasts a family bathroom, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom with a TV.

Both offering comfortable mattresses, crisp cotton bed linens and a feature wall decorated with stylish wall paper.

Guests can come and go as they please, with allocated parking for one car plus visitor parking. From the cottage you will enjoy easy access to the village amenities including the restaurant, bar, pool table, gym, outdoor tennis courts, children’s play area and indoor splash pool (seasonal opening hours). If you fancy a walk, the coastal footpath is a short walk from Mulberry Cottage, leading to stunning scenery, beaches, landscapes and sea views, including Maenporth Cove and Swanpool beach.

The walk is roughly five miles so perfect for walkers and explorers wanting to soak up the best that this special location has to offer.

Alternatively, both beaches are just a 5 minutes’ drive.

You could also make the most of the beautiful gardens the National Trust has to offer, just a short drive away including Trebah, Glendurgan and Trelissick.

A peaceful walk tucked in wooded valleys, offering picturesque views of the restful Helford River.

North Helford and Falmouth are perhaps the quintessential Cornish visitor destinations; a mix of beach, creek and woodland serve some of our most interesting and historic villages and towns.

Falmouth town is only 2.5 miles away, home to the National Maritime Museum and Pendennis Castle, there is plenty to do!

Visitors can enjoy an amble through the town, enjoy a day on the beach or take a boat trip across the River Fal or up the Truro River.

FALMOUTH

Mabe 3 miles; Penryn 2 miles; Truro 11 miles.

Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbour-side pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture. Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, is Falmouth's most popular attraction, sited on its own peninsula with superb panoramic sea views. Across from Falmouth harbour is the beautiful town of St Mawes, surrounded by the rocky coves, sandy beaches and lush green countryside of the Roseland Peninsula. Go there by car (15 miles) or take the passenger ferry from Falmouth (15 minutes). For nature lovers there is the Swanpool Nature Reserve, a lagoon and site of special scientific interest teeming with a variety of wildlife. There is also a golf course. Falmouth offers such a rich variety of landscape and attractions for people of all ages, it is sure to tempt you back time and again.
