“Fabulous stay in a very comfortable quaint cottage.”

Beds were comfy and the walk in shower great. We didn’t cook as preferred to make use of all the amazing local cafes and restaurants for our stay but the kitchen in the cottage was very well appointed.

Just two-miles away is the lovely beach at Pentewan, making Kips Cottage a perfect base for a quiet coastal break in Cornwall.

Enter the cottage and be welcomed straight into the beautifully furnished open-plan living space, with a mix of parquet wood flooring and classic tiling underfoot, you can find a woodburning stove in the sitting area to warm you on cooler nights, and a homely feel throughout.

A TV is perched in the corner for entertainment, whilst the dining table presents a lovely spot to come together at the end of the day when you're not dining out in Mevagissey.

Rustle up some delicious dishes or picnics in the neat, contemporary kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave and fridge at your fingertips.

On the first floor you can find the lovely single bedroom and the shared shower room which has vibrant blue tiles, while the second floor is home to the double bedroom with a delightful seaside theme and decorative wall-mounted oars.

Step onto the narrow and winding streets of Mevagissey and experience what makes this such a well-loved destination, finding all you need within walking distance, you can head down to the inner harbour and watch the boats come and go, or arrange an exciting fishing trip for keen anglers, as well as a ferry available from here which can take you to the historic, bustling port town of Fowey, making an excellent day trip.

In Mevagissey the streets are lined with gift shops, craft workshops, galleries, quaint cafés and historical pubs.

Dine out at one of the many excellent restaurants here too, or indulge in everybody's favourite supper, fish and chips from the local chip shop.

A host of leading Cornish attractions lie in the surrounding area, including the Eden Project with its two incredible and large biomes hosting a tropical and mediterranean climate with thousands of plants, or The Lost Gardens of Heligan which sees beautiful nature-inspired sculptures rest within the landscaped gardens for you to spot.

Head to the lovely sands of Pentewan Beach for fun in the sea, with plenty more quaint fishing villages and beaches to explore via the South West Coast Path.
