Penryn is one of Cornwall's oldest towns and is mentioned in the Domesday Survey of 1086. It is steeped in history with wonderful architecture, scenery, pubs and cafes to explore. Search our accommodation in Penryn to find your perfect holiday getaway.

Why a Penryn cottage?

In its heyday, Penryn exported granite to locations all over the world and this granite was used to build the London Bridge.

Penryn has several shops and galleries, and retains its traditional cobbled streets. There is a clock tower in the town centre and a museum in the town hall. The King's Arms, one of numerous pubs in the town, is over 200 years old, and there are also many cafes and restaurants. 

Ennys Gardens is a spectacular 30 acre garden with a fabulous collection of trees, ponds and even a waterwheel.

Penryn is now home to the Tremough Campus - this campus is used by both the University of Exeter in Cornwall and University College Falmouth.
