Porthchapel beach near Sennen is very sheltered as it is surrounded by cliffs. Please be aware it is relatively difficult to access; there is a narrow path along the cliff followed by a climb down over the rocks. Parking is available in a small field next to the church. From here it will take approximately 5 to 10 minutes to walk down to the beach. The sea here is generally very good for surfing, and the beach has a seasonal dog ban.
