Traditionally, the lights are switched on during a large ceremony, which welcomes over 30,000 visitors.

Due to the current Covid-19 situation, this year the lights will have a ‘Soft Switch On’, so each display will be lit as and when they are ready.

All displays should be lit by mid-December, so it’s well worth visiting to witness the spectacular displays.

Not only is the village Of Mousehole illuminated but so too is the hillside and harbour, with giant boats and sea creatures glowing on the water.
