1. Fowey Christmas Market

Fowey Christmas Market is probably one of Cornwall’s most popular Christmas events. Approximately 10,000 visitors arrive in Fowey over the weekend to explore the various stalls set up across the town. The 200 local traders are carefully chosen, and offer a range of gifts, arts and crafts, as well as food and beverages, all locally produced in Cornwall.

There are also plenty of shops to explore in Fowey, as well as cafes and restaurants to pop into for a bite to eat. As well as a number of local performers, voice choirs, lantern parades and Santa’s Grotto.

2. Padstow Christmas Festival

Padstow Christmas Festival is not just your run of the mill Christmas market. It is a haven for food lovers, with some of Cornwall’s finest produce on sale, as well as chef demonstrations. Purchase your pick of fine chocolates, preserves, sea salt or charcuterie, before watching the likes of Michael Caines, Rick Stein, Nathan Outlaw or Paul Ainsworth share their top cooking tips.

There are also a number of stalls featuring works from local artists, as well as beauty products, homewares and jewellery.

3. Mount Edgcumbe Christmas Fayre

Mount Edgcumbe Country Park lies on the edge of South East Cornwall, overlooking Plymouth Sound. Here you will find a wonderful Christmas Fayre, offering stalls filled with local produce, local gifts and crafts, as well as plenty of festive entertainment. Visit Santa’s Grotto or the family activity zone, or why not watch a cooking demonstration from any number of West country chefs?

Be sure to explore the landscaped park, enjoy the selection of coastal and woodland walks, catching glimpses of the park’s resident fallow deer population as you go.

4.  The Macmillan Christmas Fair at The Eden Project

Enjoy a festive day out at the Eden Project, all for a good cause. On the 13th-14th of November, the domes of the Eden Project will turn green to mark the beginning of the Macmillan Christmas Fair. There will be plenty of stalls offering Christmas gifts, jewellery, clothing and accessories, as well as food and drink.

5. Made in Cornwall Christmas Fair – Truro

Take your pick from a variety of gifts, guaranteed to have been made in Cornwall by some of the county’s most skilled artisans, artists and food and drinks producers. There will be just under 100 stalls featuring jigsaws, candles, calendars, clothing, chocolates, as well as preserves and local ales.

A great spot for picking up something a little bit different for your friends and family this Christmas.

6. Bedruthan Christmas Fair

Bedruthan Christmas Fair features is a great option if you are looking for some extra special Christmas presents (or something extra special for yourself). Set over three floors, this Christmas fair offers a selection of gifts, textiles, contemporary crafts, art, ceramics, jewellery, accessories, homewares and illustration. As well as plenty of delicious food and drink options.

7. Charlestown Christmas Market

Head to the wonderful harbour village of Charlestown for this Christmas market, split between two venues – the sports hall and the village harbour. Both offer a range of stalls, a vast selection of food and drink, as well as plenty of entertainment.
