Cornwall is a magical place to visit at any time of the year, but we think there’s something very special about spending the Christmas period in Cornwall.
The region is a honey pot of activity during the festive season, and as you would expect, you will find a wealth of activities to enjoy. At Cornish Cottage Holidays we love visiting the Christmas markets in Cornwall, where time can be spent enjoying festive-themed Cornish pasties and picking up artisan gifts and products. What’s more, buying from a Cornwall Christmas market is a great way to support local businesses and independent retailers.

Fowey Christmas Market is probably one of the most popular Christmas markets in Cornwall. Think sparkling sights, incredible smells and independent artisans on show. There will be almost 100 traders, offering a range of gifts, arts and crafts, as well as food and beverages, all locally produced in Cornwall.
This Cornish Christmas market is spread across Fowey’s beautiful town, so whilst you are visiting be sure to check out the many lovely cafés, pubs and restaurants too.

Times: Friday 5.30pm – 8.30pm, Saturday 10am – 5.30pm, Sunday 10am – 4pm
This wonderful Christmas market in Cornwall is hosted in the beautiful country park of Mount Edgcumbe which lies on the edge of South East Cornwall, overlooking Plymouth Sound. A true ‘Cornish Yuletide’, this Christmas market offers stalls filled with local produce, gifts and crafts, as well as plenty of festive entertainment. Visit Santa’s Grotto or the family activity zone, and be sure to explore the landscaped park and enjoy the selection of coastal and woodland walks.

Running for 33 festive-filled days, this open air Christmas market in Cornwall is an extended, festive version of the ever-popular Truro Farmers Market. Held at Lemon Quay, this Cornish Christmas Market sees festive wooden cabins decorate the streets of Cornwall’s only city, and as you can imagine, the atmosphere is buzzing.
There will be a host of Cornish makers with amazing products to browse. Pick up some unique Christmas presents from this Cornwall Christmas market, from jigsaws and calendars, to preserves and local ales. There’s also street food, music, and live, family-friendly entertainment, providing an immersive winter experience.

Healeys Cider Farm will be transformed into a sparkling Cornish Christmas market this November and December; Walk through the 80-year-old cobbled courtyard with a mulled cider and feel the festive spirit! There will be crafts, Christmas songs, and delicious food held across six wonderful weekends.

The Bedruthan Christmas Fayre offers a diverse array of unique and handcrafted gifts from talented local artisans and makers across the South West. Explore stalls selling art, crafts, ceramics, textiles, illustrations, homewares, fashion, jewellery, and delicious food and drink.
Make a day of it and bring the whole family to enjoy Christmas-themed crafting activities, indulge in festive baked treats from the on-site bakery, and let the smaller children loose in the Jungle Tumble play area. You can expect Bedruthan to be full of Christmas cheer and merriment for all ages!
Admission is £2.00 per ticket, which includes parking, a shuttle bus service and also entry to the fayre. Children under 5 can attend for free, but you must include them in your ticket count when checking out.

Head to the wonderful harbour village of Charlestown for this Cornwall Christmas market, offering a range of stalls, a vast selection of food and drink, as well as plenty of entertainment. And one of the best things about this Cornwall Christmas fair is that it’s all indoors, so you are guaranteed to be warm and dry!

Falmouth’s Festive Weekend returns this Christmas promising a magical winter wonderland experience!
Explore a festive land train, glide across an artificial ice rink, stroll through snowy streets lined with festive stalls, and delight in classic fairground attractions. Marvel at the giant snow globe and be captivated by live choirs filling the air with cheer. The Falmouth town team have curated an extraordinary Christmas weekend extravaganza, packed with joyful activities and enchanting seasonal delights for all to enjoy.
