Spend the day browsing independent shops, relaxing on Porthmeor Beach, visiting Tate St Ives or enjoying fresh seafood overlooking the harbour before wandering through the town's charming narrow streets.

For a quieter day by the sea, Portreath is only around a 15-minute drive from Clowance. This attractive harbour village is well known for its sandy beach, making it a popular spot for surfing, bodyboarding and family beach days. Afterwards, take a stroll around the harbour or stop at one of the local cafés before heading back to your accommodation.

Alternatively, Marazion can be reached in approximately 20 minutes by car and is home to one of Cornwall's most recognisable landmarks, St Michael's Mount. Accessible on foot at low tide or by boat when the tide is in, this historic tidal island offers spectacular scenery, beautiful gardens and fascinating history.
