Harriet “We had a lovely stay at Zawn Haven but then got stung with a £250 house keeping fine for some marks on a bed which weren't us al and a minor cup mark on a piece of furniture which could easily have been polished out.”
We kept the place immaculate and cleaned up like it was an end of tenancy too. Correspondence has been terrible/non existent since and we got no proof that they had actually incurred any costs. They should just include this giant cleaning fee in their costs if they're going to add it anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear that your experience ended on a disappointing note after what was otherwise a lovely stay. However, your stay resulted in us incurring significant costs over and above the Good Housekeeping Bond set by our agents and we had no option but to follow the standard process. As owners, we can’t really comment on internal Sykes processes but have been assured that you were supplied with the requisite information in a timely manner. Regrettably, the ‘minor cup mark’ you referred to was water damage to a piece of antique furniture, which required restoration from an antiques specialist. This was the first time we have ever had to make use of the Good Housekeeping Bond scheme, and we sincerely hope it will be the last. Property Owner
